Concrete Engraving & Template Transfer

In this video, I draw an original design and make a mirrored image on a transferable template. Then, using an angle grinder with a diamond blade, I transfer the image onto concrete. Doing this creates exact copies which is more attractive in designs and murals.

thanks for taking a look . I would start with simple designs simple curves. yes i drew it free hand on the concrete in chalk. cut it the laid the plastic over the cut. and traced the cut .

what would u recommend to make my very 1st template? in video you showed tracing an existing pattern w/ sharpie, but did you draw the original free-hand?
