@@testing6753 sadly yes but if you're coming to evade taxes don't even try it. The people are fighting for what has and is being stolen from them it will not be the paradise they sell you because they don't even really own it there's a lot of illegal constructions and they will be taking down, by nature or by the court.

Like in Hawaii natives are being gentrified everything is been put on a silver platter for foreigners but they make it hard for us to live here and a lot of people are tired of it. They overthrew the governor a while back and this one might be on his way because they're tired of the corruption. I'm just saying some people don't know this side. If you're cool then you're cool but there's some real entitled people that come and throw in our faces the fact that they come here to our land take our beaches AND use the laws implemented to benefit those who come here instead of those being born here. I believe every land is for everybody but if you're using wealth and power to abuse and run over the people sooner or later they're going to get tired of it. Or maybe we'll just give up and end giving up the island. Let's see what happens...

@@testing6753 literally thousands of people have died because of negligence in disaster prevention specially on the mountainous parts of Puerto Rico. The energy system is terrible even in this area you better have a generator because you might lose power once or twice a week for no reason other than lack of maintenance. You get insanely high prices on electricity too, not even considering how bad the system is because of negligence... It's really sad that people don't talk or try to put it under the rug what we need to do is put the message out there and take action.

How fun was it?

I agree, some areas are nice, but tbh, some areas are very abandoned. We do have an amazing area that could be a true world class tourist spot. Hopefully it can be renewed soon!

There is a new administration in San Juan. Hopefully the new mayor will do the job the previous mayor didn't.

That's what happens when a corrupt government takes over and displaces funds to steal them by overcharging amongst other stuff

This major barely made it and there was serious suspicion during election time that it was rigged because when he was losing a couple (10-15) boxes of voters appeared out of nowhere and miraculously they got the win. Yeah.. this government is corrupt to the core and nobody cares enough to do a shit and those who do are not being supported or are given a very hard time. Sad to see the colonial mindset puertoricans have accepted.
