Parked up for 3 minutes with the A/C on produced quite a puddle of condensate. I've known people to call out the AA when they've seen this thinking their car was leaking. The ambient air temperature was 27°C on this day
Had the same yesterday and thought I had a bad leak until looking into it. Thank god it’s normal that the air con does this. It was a humid evening as well
Its normal its the aircon sucking out the warm air and condensation inside the car and filling it with cold. Only need to worry if theres a colour to it usually green ir yellow means theres a leak. Its actually a sign of a healthy aircon doin its job
When I have my ac on, it leaks water of course underneath especially on really hot days but I noticed now it has a yellow ish tinge to it I think? The touch of it was like water though. It wasn’t slimy or oily or anything. When my ac is turned off, my car doesn’t drip anything at all. What do you think?
They called Alcoholics Anonymous because of a puddle under their car? Well, they do say that everyone's "rock bottom" is different. I guess a leaky car could be the last straw for some folks. ;-)
So is this normal my Camaro does this when i use my ac alot i thought it was oil leaking but my valve cover gasket was bad and i fixed it and i see something leaking i think it's water
Oil is black unless brand new in which it would then be dark golden. It would be ac condensation drip which is normal or another fluid like windshield washer fluid or coolant. Transmission fluid is usually dark too like a red often.
