Minjee joined her brother Minwoo at Callaway in a multi-million-dollar deal this off-season. She switched from Srixon and Cleveland clubs to Callaway, and has spent a number of her off-season weeks with her coach tweaking her swing to adapt to the equipment change. Minjee typically hasn't been one to get out of the starting blocks fast into a new season, she more often finds peak or mid-season form after May. But for the time being she's still breaking in those new clubs. As for her past yrs' performances, keep in mind that she's playing in the era of 3 future hall of famers in Inbee Park, Lydia Ko, and Jin Young Ko, not to mention deep fields ripe with more young talent than ever before. All that combined has taken potential wins off of Minjee's plate.
