I am a Christian and can practice in my church freely as long as Hindus are a majority. Nobody guards our churches like how they do in almost all Islamic countries with military and all with the threat that Christians would get attacked by some killers. Hindus visit our churches on Christmas, we share sweets on Diwali and cakes during Christmas, we intermarry, many as Indian Christians accept our Hindu identity with pride (except for Naga or Khasi etc because, their ancestors were not Hindu but animists). Same for Parsis who may not enter Hindu temples but have assimilated well. In India, nobody discriminates us for being Christians. I wonder why are Muslims always at issues ? Okay, tell me Muslim countries where there's no radical terror outfit of Muslims ? They themselves are taken aback with it. Long answer short, sorry, we don't want Pakistani Muslims because, that would create a demographic shift and everyone knows when Muslims are a majority what happens to the minorities. Hindus, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist, gay, atheists, Christians, Baha'i, Ahmadi everyone can coexist, it's only Muslims who make it difficult. We ourselves have Hindu girls who married into our families, happy married life for 20+ years, never one of them had any issue, they are fully incorporated, one or two became Christian at their own will, despite their husbands pending full support of they wanted to stay Hindu. Their children are normal human beings first, everything else after that. India is a cool place as long as Hindus remain a majority. That being said, see the condition of Pakistani Christians, I mean what kind of a sick law would prohibit a talented Christian to not be a PM or a President of Pakistan just because he is a Christian? That's why hopeless politicians crop up from there and make it a thing ! India had Christians long before even Romans accepted Christianity. We are an ancient community and fully proud of our Hindu roots, we don't need a Ghar wapsi, because, at our core we are Hindus as well. East or West - India is the best or bestest if that's a word.
