1. condition : tawbah is to be done sincerely to Allah only not for worldly benefit, nor worldly benefit. 2. remorse/ regret must be felt. 3. the person must abandon the sin. 4. the determination to never go back to that sin. 5. it has to be in a time where tawbah is accepted. 6. the sincere tawbah is not to refrain from a sin because the ways and means that lead to it are cut off. in example you make tawbah but deep in your heart you still yearn for that sin so that if you are able to commit that sin again, you are still considering it.
