So I did a RU-vid search on what rights do I have as a condo owner. This video just pretty much tells me I don't have rights except immediate compliance. When it really need to know is when the board president it is a bully and management is also a bully and wants to keep me from ever voicing a concern or complained, what rights do I have? So this search turned this up as an answer. RU-vid is owned by Google and I noticed that searching Google has become so frustrating and I think it's all about SEO. So I guess RU-vid going to go that same way

But if you pay under protest and you sue them, the condo Corp is going to hold you responsible for legal costs to fight your disputes in court. They already charge the owner for legal letters to complain against the owner. And if you dispute it, you are threatened with legal costs again. This is a corrupt system. The condo board is not accountable because the lawyers are always acting on their behalf, and the owner is charged the legal fees for the situation. The owner is left with very little recourse to address disputes.

Yea right. To remove a board you need a 3/4 vote. Good luck ever getting that. Plus the lawyer said it exactly right, in the end your only recourse is the courts and the costs are so high most never get justice. Truth is you are far more protected as a renter than you are as an owner of a condo. cheers
