I was just a kid then but tried to get my peers to think about the long term effects of their actions to read and understand what Aq and Iraq as a whole is before casting judgement and ultimately war. I ended up getting expelled and beat up over it. No one cared but mind you at those times people were heavily being controlled on a scale I’ve never seen. They could’ve said anyone was attacking and this country was involved and people would’ve believe it. They never will get people to project that same reality they did that day again. But they still do on semi smaller scales which all of these long term projects this and that are starting to reach America for once. I hope people actually look at these people at are coming over here and see what these wars do to the world and the consequences of no accountability starts reaching minds.
Infuriating to watch Rumsfeld and Cheney admit to nothing over Iraq. "Oh it was a big thing to try to do, stuff happens" etc. None of them got a favourable place in history, contrary to what they so desired. And rightly so.

The invasion was a walk in the park because they held back thinking that the US would behave as promised and NOT collectively punish people who lived under a very cruel dictator who had nothing to do with policy. The destruction of the their infrastructure was bad and kind of understandable from a must win point of view but excluding Iraqi's from working was an impossible situation doomed to fail and most of the generals said so and some resigned. You cannot prevent people from earning a living in a modern SECULAR state where women served in important administrative roles. Why fire the water department workers who all had to be in the BAATH party? Her glossing over the stupidity and greedy scams of the war makes he an accomplice to stealing form the American people money and lives. Shame on her. Oh and in addition to the 2 trillion spent, an additional $490 billion in benefits is owed to war veterans, expenses that could grow to more than $6 trillion over the next four decades counting interest. I for one wished she had stayed in DC. We needed and continue to need more intelligent women like her. I would have gladly voted for her if she ran for President. I secretly hoped she would run. Even at that time I was sensing the urgency for a Black president, and she had it all in my opinion. The RNC would have scored two political points with one candidate. They could easily have made it happen.
Condoleeza makes some pretty bad arguments. Simply saying someone was from Egypt or Saudi doesn't make them an extremist. Pretty weak logical abilities.
