Love it. After having recently received my NDLR I can honestly say they are such an inspiring piece of kit. Nice use of the strum feature! I’m seriously tempted with one of those Model D’s. For their price, why not!
The Model D has really surprised me. It produces some great bass and pads. It really comes alive when you feed it a hint of reverb. I agree that for the price, it really is a 'why not' kind of purchase!
Just a little question regarding the connection. How do you make your Midi setup? NDLR midi out to a Midi Splitter and from there to the instruments and the iPad?
Hello, great piece and I’m thinking of getting the NDLR. How are you connecting it to the iPad? I’m thinking something like the IK multimedia iRig Midi 2 maybe, is that what you use, or something similar...
You can also plug NDLR directly into an iPad with a camera connection kit. There are some that have a pass thru lightning connector so you can power the iPad while it powers The NDLR.
@@daviddechamps8840 The iPad camera kit is a lighting to USB socket. So you will connect to The NDLR's USB client port with a USB A to B cable, which comes with The NDLR. Most iPads can power the NDLR, but its better to have the 3rd party dongle with a lighting pass-thru for powering the iPad while The NDLR is connected.
