I remember the alchemist said something about how each beat he makes exists at a certain time of day and a certain season, for me this song is pure early morning winter vibes, steaming coffee at 5 am type shit. Great artists "steal", but its learning from others and how they create a certain type of energy in a track that this teaches so well. This channel is consistently the best true beat making content on YT, u never fail to hype me up to create something 🙏 peace to you bro and all you do
this what i jotted down: 1. elzhi - february feel: yearning texture: dry ice sound: familiar/pulling science: everything is where it’s supposed to be. meaning; when the song first starts it’s just the cello(?) and arp keys. then the drums are presented in an “oh shit let me find this pocket real quick” way. then the bounce is just locked in from there. the tambourine panning is an excellent touch. after re-listening i noticed the cello was taken out, yet it still feels like it’s there. then after a couple of stanzas we are introduced to some somewhat bright, more like a shimmer, violin. really ties in that yearning feeling.
Love this man. So many videos already out there about how to flip samples or mix or any of the technical stuff, but hardly anything about the emotional complexity of great music. Seeing the methods you used to teach yourself how to connect with the music as deeply as possible is incredibly valuable in this era of sterile creation. Thank you for the inspiration as always!
I love your videos CW ! You provide so much authenticity and depth to your videos with just your commentary. Always love the chill vibes, deep thoughts and descriptive vocabulary. One !
"You came around to change things I want it how it used to be" This song hit even harder when I saw the music video and you see his friends disappear while he's riding his bike. This joint definitely has a winter feel to it. And something about it makes you just kind of pause and reflect for a moment. Also dope concept for a RU-vid video. RU-vid can be a mess content wise. Good to see something more refreshing.
Glad you highlighted this album, Elzhi is a prolific emcee and artist, one of the few albums I rotate every year, last 2 years been fucked up for me and experiencing depression for the 1st time I have a deeper connection with every word than man put to paper
I hope when conductor gets famous enough he can hire an actor to drop his tag like metro had Morgan freeman. I wanna hear Samuel Jackson say “Conductor we have a mother *bleeping problem!” Just once on a track.
This is an awesome series. Any chance it could be available to the Union tier, or perhaps make a tier in between? No worries if not. You're the most creative artist in the world right now!
This Guy always has some gems!... mentality!.... sometimes when I start production...need coffee.. quiet...& Let vibes come from the sky(🌲) 😉...s/o to Elzhi...Slum.. Detroit...What up Doe!
I want to start off with saying a big thank you for this video and a blessing i have recently found your page bro I recently been struggling a-lot with my thought process and lifestyle choices Just completed 8 months of mental health & addiction therapy and the process has aloud me to feel again and feel my music I back making beats & art again to stay in a real current place and channel my emotions Stay blessed Love from UK 👊🏽🔥👊🏽
Really feeling the spirit in those wise words 🥹🫶🏽 you seem to be a great human being & it’s inspiring + kinda feels good to here people speaking the same langage, we are not only the strange one in the group no more, we are the CONDUCTOR UNION 🚂🔥
I could write a book about how dope your beats are. That said, what’s just as dope is how you articulate your vulnerability in the process as a strength and as an opportunity to find unexplored lanes of creation. This humility and fascination for the magic behind the process is felt through your sound/finished product. I appreciate you!
I’ve never subscribed to a Patreon that quick! The most authentic Music producer in the game right now And the mind set that will inspire anyone to keep pushing in life Thank you conductor 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow this is amazing. You always talk about producing using emotion and it has made me enjoy making music a lot more, music has felt so mass produced and I got lost in it and forgot that music exists to navigate emotions and thoughts. Thank you
I must say my dream has always been production of audio or sound and I must say watching you just talk about experience and life it’s nice to have someone almost like a mentor for someone like me growing up with no support or mental teaching it’s good to have a person like you to learn from, makes good people doing good things! Keep it up man seriously.
