I do a site-by-site tour of the beautiful Coneross Campground on Hartwell Lake near Clemson, South Carolina.
This is a US Corps of Engineers campground.
The majority of sites are large and have electric and water.
About 1/2 of the sites are waterfront.
The fee is $32 per night and Interagency passes are applied for a 50% discount.
Reserve on Recreation.gov.

One of my favorite campgrounds! I have stayed in 16, 19, and 18. Close to the water/beach/playground and bathroom. Works out well with kids.

Thank you guys!! And to Luke, for the nice introduction! Making unforgettable memories! I agree with you, I am so partial to ACOE sites, best in the country! Love to you! Oh, and I looked that campground up on Google and I was wondering, since y'all do such an awesome in-depth review of places, do you ever put reviews on Google Maps?

Hey Diane! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I don't think I've ever left a review on Google maps, but I do use them. I think I did leave one for a porta potty one time at Suwannee, though. It was pretty funny, if I can find it I will send you the link. We are leaving on a big trip on 7/14, heading up to Labrador and Newfoundland. Don't really have any concrete plans but this is the rough idea: We will spend about a week in New York in the Adirondacks and then driving through Quebec to Labrador and then ferry to NFL. On way home, ferry to Nova Scotia and then maybe camp in Vermont and/or New Hampshire on way home. We should be home end of Sept or early October. We're looking forward to the trip and hope to explore more rugged north country. We will try to post shorts and videos along the way. Hope you have a good summer. Take care.
