Tom aka. the ninja is one of the most honest operators I have seen on RU-vid... not because he uses European attachments but he actually knows why he uses the tools he does... two thumbs up
Tom is very accurate on his description of engcon in sweden. All Excavators here between 2-3 tons and up to 24 tons got one. I also think its because they were invented in Sweden nearly 40 years ago. My guess is, it takes a long time changing an industry. For example if you look at american operators commenting on tiltrorator youtubers its often with skepticism. Cool to see it being promoted, its a great tool.
Thanks for the question. I asked Dirt Ninja and he said: Depends on the size. But not as much as you would think. Weighs about as much as a bucket coupler and a progressive link thumb on a regular machine
Heavy Metal Learning thanks for the reply, I have a 313FL cat with quick Cupler 42 inch bucket with matching thumb hydraulic. Go get some rest I’m sure it’s been a long day 😁 Stay safe Dwayne
I work in the machine dry and wet hire business and fixing hoses and fittings is a massive cost for us,we have even made massive savings just with tilting quick hitches ,only time we use the hoses is when we are hammering out rock or concrete ,then the fittings and hoses are out of the way any way.
@@Dola672 Because engcon is doing an massive camaign in america, but the factory is only suitable for the scandinavian market, so in order to save time and money they make fokus on quantity, not quality. Engcons biggest competitor "Rototilt" is the original tiltrotator, but they focus on a better quality product. I drive both, but our engcon is just a pain in the ass.
