man i always love the horrified shocked pikachu face all reactors make to "and then there was that time tarrarre ripped a live cat apart, drank its blood and ate everything except the bones and later on gagged up its fur like an owl"
To clarify about the life expectancy thing, it was only skewed at 30/40 years because of child fatalities. If you made it to adulthood with no serious illnesses or injuries, you could expect to make it to your 60s or even 70s.
btw cats are like the most optimal hunters the only thing that limits what they hunt is size. small cats go for mice and shit but if you had a cat like a tiger or jaguar they go for crocodiles and shit. also a real cat human hybrid would not be some cutesy catgirl but more feral and agressive like catra from the renewed she-ra . they would hunt anything they could possibly have a chance against and be generally wild as hell. so yeah what im tryna say is a catgirl would hunt and eat t rexes if they both existed together at the same time
The concept of some guy having a RU-vid channel where he just pours lava on random shit is hilarious. The fact that its actually just videos of the dude pouring lava on animals is insane.
I have a theory that Tarrare had a rare syndrome called Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). It's a very rare genetic syndrome that I've only ever seen twice in my life. It basically makes the person with it hungry 24/7, because the brain doesn't have that sensation of "okay you're full now, stop eating." It's always telling them to eat because the hunger is like an intense starving feeling. The syndrome is just sad all around because families will have to lock up not only the food but also the trash. Even Tarrare's age at his death adds up, as people who have it don't live long (early/ mid 20s at most due to health issues.) If they didn't mention he died from TB, I'd take this theory as fact. (PS- my mom went to France when I was in middle school, so I can say yes French portion sizes are very tiny since she brought back Pepsi cans that seemed perfect for babies. It was that small.)
@@filiptrajkovski2198 It's actually one of the reasons squids aren't very smart. They constantly wipe their own memories by eating lol. They could be super smart like octopodes if that weren't the case lol
Always nice to see people finding Sam O'Nella. He's a very underrated youtuber. take my sub and watch minutes! btw, SCP-682's gimmick isn't just that it's nigh impossible to kill, it will fully adapt to any attack against it and use it as a weapon against its enemies.
from the monkey paintings I actually quite like the top left one. its actually not bad. I like the general color coordination and the shpes and strokes used look a bit like a dystopian city
Your hot take of "scp is ruined by the fact anyone can write it" is so baffling to me. Like. My guy. That's the entire point. It's like saying that Minecraft is ruined because it doesn't have a campaign mode with 12h storyline and instead makes you just do whatever.
*remembers trans satellite and the uwu Tumblr sentient diary* Yeah, I'm going to say that SCP dropping quality standards for their submissions was a bad thing.
@@passingrando6457At least those ideas have creativity to them, even if they’re “cringe lol”. Not over the time I read a SCP article where the punchline was “actually this is an IRL phenomenon that’s entirely explainable by human nature lol”. I felt so cheated dude
@@Cosplaybuddygiraffes I don't care if they're cringe or not. A lot of fun online things are "cringe". I'm not saying "ew trans people". I'm saying tumblr-posting (or I guess it's twitter-posting now) in what is supposed to be a secretive, quasi-black ops paranormal containment creative writing format is lame and breaks the entire vibe. There were submissions of questionable quality before, but they increased exponentially after they stopped demanding a certain level of technical writing quality to the entries submitted. If you want to make a quirky joke SCP, that's what the SCP-###-J entries were for.
I think every scp is important, even the bad ones, because it makes the better/ more terrifying shine brighter. The bad scp are also often the first ones which a new Author creates, so it is a good learning curve.( what to omit, what to highlight, where to go into detail, and to let the omitted part be interpreted by the reader, idk who said it but the unknown is the most terrifying or something like that)
It makes it more believable that in this world not all the entires are badass or terrifying. Some are just meh which, with how many entries there are, would be believable. Not all of them can be bamgers
Not that it matters but it isn’t actually quite true that anyone can write an SCP story or make up a new SCP. Obviously anyone could do it but it would have the validity of a Fnaf OC. The actual Official SCP website hosting all the different stories and Monsters are the ones that are in charge of what becomes canon SCP content/lore and what doesn’t. Not just any random person can have his Story or SCP added to the official list. There are some prerequisites to having the chance for your story to become official and even then it’s first checked for quality, structure and being true to the rest of the SCP lore. If it doesn’t thematically fit in it doesn’t get in.
What you're not taking into account is that teaching an animal to speak involves more than human ingenuity. The animal also has to be intelligent enough to understand.
Yeah, that "SCP concept is ruined because anyone can write it" is an L take. My brother, it is precisely because of the community that SCP even get to this point. You think one or two of their best writers could come up with thousands of articles and high concepts alone? As for quality, the community self-police the submissions and if they are bad then they will get downvoted and deleted. Only the ones up to standards get to stay and assigned a number. Also, because SCP belong to the whole community, no single individual can steal and copyrights the universe as belonging to them. Say, if Hollywood get ownership of SCP, then you know they will ruin it with their usual bullshits and completely disrespecting the lore. So I am glad everyone have a say in this community rather than just a few writers.
How fucking dare you accuse me of prewatching when I learned about the molasses flood in elementary school (I wasn't even there for the stream but I'm still annoyed lol)
One thing that Coney says that ticks me off is him saying parrots aren't aware of what they're saying at 2:08:00. There are multiple instances we're they are in fact aware of what they are saying or doing. It just takes time to train them properly in order for them to do so. If what Coney is saying, is the case then Alex would've never been as smart as he was.
Cue the scene from Ed Edd n' Eddy where Double Dee yaps by literally saying "yap yap" several times in a vaguely sentence-like cadence Caption it "CONEY" and we're golden
