@@trevorlee7953 what do you mean why do i support Russia over ukraine? the answer is obvious .... ukraine is fascist and is allied with homofascist powers ukraine the lapdog of those powers too on top of that ukraine was part of russia ... i think the answer very obvious
@@trevorlee7953 we need to stop giving Ukraine money. It’s wasting money on a lost cause. In less than a year Russia will have that country fully annexed.
Thanks for creating and sharing this. Once converted to an mp3, this makes a cool edition to any user-created playlist for Civil War PC games such as Ultimate General: Civil War or Grand Tactician Civil War (Which actually comes with an excellent soundtrack). Just an FYI for those interested: The cool thumbnail used above for this video is actually a painting by a very talented artist named Roberta Wesley titled "Rebel Yell". She also created another great Civil War painting (albeit very different from this one) titled "Echoes In Silence", which depicts nature gradually reclaiming a debris-strewn Civil War battlefield days or perhaps weeks after the battle.
Jackson's "Foot Cavalry" only marched to this cadence in a general march. His Corps would make those incredible marches in complete silence, and at double time: double this speed. It's how he was able to defeat several Union armies during his Valley Campaign and it earned him the legacy of being among the greatest generals in US history. His men loved him and because of this they would do just about anything he asked of them
But the Naval Battles still raged on the ocean, well over a year later. And the last NAVAL BATTLE was fought in the Pacific Ocean, just South of Alaska: With the Confederate ship winning For the Navy never knew the WAR was over, because they had not been into a USA land port. Oh, yes! They both had Navy's. That's where this War started... Was in the PORTS." the CSA ALABAMA is at the bottom of the ENGLISH CHANEL. But Captain Raphael Semmes let it go. Alabama had been at sea, so long, that she was leaking like a sive. Semmes was headed for Cherbourg, where the Alabama had been built. And Semmes knew the Alabama had been built with the latest technology, for its day. Even though, it sank in Civil War battle, in the English Chanel. Semmes wanted the Alabama Sank. There was to much technology on the ship. The Alabama Could be ran as a tall ship with Sails and mast, or steam powered And Semmes used it full advantage. Semmes and his crew both, survived the Alabama sinking, in the English Channel. Since Semmes was in Cherborg... He just commissioned another Ship and some months later... Semmes with his crew, came into port in Mexico. And they worked their way, back across Texas and the Mississippi River into the South, on foot. They said it was something to see.. Men straightening Uncle Billies neck ties and laying track and coming North by train. And the more track they laid...More of the men came to help them lay track and to join them. Semmes made it into Tennessee and was fighting in hand to hand combat. RAPHAEL SEMMES is the only man that will not only be known as an Admiral but as a General, as well. The Union Captured him in Tennessee throwed him in jail. After the war and Andrew Johnson had reinstated the "Constitution," Raphael Semmes was allowed a hearing. Semmes had been an attorney, as well in his younger days, so, he plead his own case, in court and WON! The Union Freed Semmes, with Restriction, "Semmes could never again serve in any "Public Office." Semmes went home to the South. When he died, They gave Semmes the Highest of Honors.
@Falqcon plus Utube cut what I said in half cause I used a word and spoke the truth that they didn't want people to hear. I fear if I write ✍️ it again, they will dismiss it. God bless !
In the old south, the confederates had strong fighters, But not enough of them. But now, in the new south when the second Civil War begins, I wonder when it comes to fighters in the south, will have enough of them…
WoW makes me march with Dixie RIGHT NOW we gotta do it again in 2022 !!! Mo retreat no surrender . ( after we've postcastrated Biden the mellon ) Dancing Mathilda
@@jacobhaas5498 What you’ll never understand is that 159 years later, you can still feel sadness, anger, and pride for men you never knew but who fought for a noble cause. Some people, in fact, are not so shallow.
@@traveseros90 While true to an extent, the historical situation was much more nuanced. Most foot soldiers (on both sides) were not fighting to preserve, or to end slavery.
@@NoahGreene-pp5wm: They may have lost, but just consider yourselves lucky the confederates didn't have just one more outstandingly strategic general like Robert E Lee, because if they did, they would have won and you'd be the ones going Boohoo.

So did the Taylor family. In fact, a Taylor (Don't know his first name) who was a General of the Union army, was the uncle of Confederate lieutenant General Richard Taylor of the Louisiana 9th infantry. His confederate flag had the colors reversed, red bars and stars on a blue background, and it's known as the Taylor flag.
Well considering Mississippi was the birthplace of americas music; Nola known for jazz - and country being the south’s I think the music has been there forever. Uneducated comment about North American music history.
I do love my Yankee brothers but If we the south wouldn’t have lost General Stomewall Jackson it may have ended differently. Forever southern blessed by the grace of God!!!
It's just an extended drum cadence, folks. Does any of this have to do with the CSA? Drum cadences were not unique to the Confederate Army. Howabout some Battle Hymn of the Republic? 🎵 "When Johnny comes marching home again, Hurrah! Hurrah! 🎶 🥁🎺
This video is a looped drumming version of ''Yankee Doodle Dandy.'' (Doh! Union tune! Doh!) If you are a musician, just play that tune in your head and listen to the drumming, they match perfectly. I think this video is a terrible insult to the South.
This is put of my family's history I had relatives who fought on both sides same of us fought for the union and same of us fought for the Confederacy my family fought them selfs during the civil war
However, it's very well known that on the battlefields during that war, that on the other ends of those muskets pointed at each other, were everything from old school mates, to even family members.
Dear AcolyteSun..iam Armin from Germany..id like to use 3 min.of your tune..for a today.anti.war.video.with german lyrics..what do you think..its ok.ay or not..thx for answering..hope.BestWishes.Bye..ps.like the dixie. But hate war..
For real, why did they keep scamming us when they told us about their new concert in Richmond, VA? Such a waste of time. I tried to ask for the guys coming and they told me about Hindenberg coming down here.
H. W. Barlow before the woke crowd say 25 years ago. The war was brother against brother who fought for different reasons against one another I would have been a Yankee, but states rights is why the south was fighting at the beginning of the war
States rights lol. Slavery. The plantation owners and their in the pocket politicians spread the states rights dialog and "ol jhonny" was more than eager to lap it up.
