Confederate Cemetery in Frankfort, Kentucky 

The circular Confederate Cemetery at Frankfort, Kentucky contains the graves of 68 Confederate soldiers, many killed during the Civil War. Located in Frankfort Cemetery overlooking the Kentucky State Capitol, the cemetery also features the Confederate Monument, a granite shaft topped by a marble statue of a mustachioed Confederate infantryman grasping his rifled musket as he stands watch.
