One clarification. I don’t want anyone to be confused here Ending all of your sin DOES NOT SAVE YOU. We go through a process But when you are saved you’ll noticed a desire to put an end to sin. If you desire to continue after the flesh and want to pursue the flesh rather than the spirit, it is evidence that you have not been reborn. But there’s hope - you still have opportunity to seek the Lord and be reborn

Using an analogy made by Paul Washer: if I say to you that I was hit by a speeding semi truck while walking across the street, but I looked and walked the same way afterwards, you would wonder if I am telling the truth. No one can be hit by a speeding truck and there not be evidence if it. This is the same with Christ: you cannot have a true encounter with Him and there not be any evidence of that. If your relationship with Christ does not produce changed behavior, you better question your salvation.

So from what I understand, if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe he rose from the dead, yet still have the desire to sin and do evil, then that person is not saved by faith. Paul addresses this issue, that if you think you can sin all you want and just ask forgiveness at the end of the night, you have a profound misunderstanding of God's grace. However, there is a difference between "desire" and "temptation" that I hope doesn't confuse people into thinking they're damned to Hell if they mess up. For example, if you fall into the temptation of lust or drunkeness; commit these sins, but feel convicted afterwards. That doesn't mean you were "never saved in the first place" you just had a moment of weakness that wasn't planned and now feel guilty and are in need of forgiveness despite having already been saved. If you weren't actually born again and still had desires of the flesh, then you wouldn't feel conviction of sin now would you? In fact, I'd imagine the person would be indifferent towards disobedience and shrug it off.

A lot of people will not accept this message because they want to continue living in their sin and don’t understand that Jesus defeated sin and bondages now. They take one verse and ignore everything else God tells you to do.

No, people will not accept this because it goes against what Jesus said was the requirement for "salvation." Sanctification & Salvation are 2 completely different camps. One is works to produce fruit, that brings more people to Christ. The other is the way to be saved to enter Heaven with God for eternity. To stop sinning is impossible, as long as you are the person who resides in your flesh who wrote a comment on RU-vid. You can practice eliminating sin out of your life. That's good, especially if you tell people you are a Christian. But do not make that your basis to be saved, or to tell others it is the way to Heaven. Because the way to heaven is only through believing in Jesus Christ.

@@JesusIsRealJ1247 Of course we only gain salvation through Jesus Christ. Though after we believe this we are to follow Christ. And it’s not separate to be sanctified and to believe in the salvation that Jesus gave us. After we accept Jesus can we still continue sinning the way we did before we got saved? It’s good to tell people about salvation and that’s the start but you can’t say we should keep sinning the way we did before we knew Christ, he came to set us free from those things. The problem with the teaching of salvation today is most people don’t teach the other things Jesus taught that are just as important. Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭26‬-‭29‬ ‭ ““If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?” Hebrews‬ ‭6‬‬:‭1‬ 1 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭ “It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.”‭ John‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭ “Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”” Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭37‬-‭39‬ ‭ ““Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”

Jesus came to be the eternal sacrificial lamb for man with his sinless blood on the Cross at Calvary. Because we could NOT overcome the LAW which was given to Moses and passed onto the Jews. To sin after believing in the gospel of Jesus Christ does NOT allow one to LOSE their salvation. What it means in Romans 10 is to walk in "SANCTIFICATION" as a Christian before others who witness you, when you yourself claim to be a Christian before them. To sin [profits] a person NOTHING for Sin is tried by heavenly fire as wood, hay, & stubble. To not Sin again, is 1 Billion % impossible as long as you are made of flesh and bone on this earth. Yes, you can practice not to sin. But do NOT make it your [foundation] of belief [for] "salvation." That does not help on this video for starts, and 6,500 people witnessed this lie. What matters is that people believe on the only begotten son of God, Jesus Christ to be saved. Which is not of themselves & anything that they do, but [the will] of the father who sent who? Jesus Christ, [God himself.] If you don't do this, you are sinful in the eyes of the father, and another reprobate of Lucifer's kind. In turn, breaking God's heart in having to condemn you apart from himself for all eternity. Because a unrepentant mind cannot change if it doesn't choose to do so. Which is why we still have free-will to [choose] to [accept Jesus] as our Lord, or [not.] The moment one does, no one can pluck them from the fathers hand. Because God records everything you do, every second of your life. He [knows] if you [believed or not.] Please stop confusing the masses with this video. Also, please stop reading modern translations. They are counterfeits, and full of lies, and modifications. Which God warned us NOT to do. Don't believe me? Find me the name "Lucifer" in your bible. See if it exists in Isaiah 14:12. Because you won't find it. Why would God omit from us the very being who's name ruined it for all? He wouldn't, only Lucifer would. Luke 18:27 KJV "And he said, The things which are [impossible with men] are possible with God." - You won't become sinless until you are washed new by Jesus on the other side of the veil. ---------------------------------------------------------- Scripture to be saved John 6:38-40 KJV "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the [will of him] that sent me. And this is the [Father's will] which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And [this is the will of him that sent me,] that every one which seeth the Son, and [believeth on him,] may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." John 8:24 KJV "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." - Jesus Christ. John 10: 25-30 KJV "Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one." John 11:23-27 KJV "Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world." John 14:6 KJV "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Romans 6:23 KJV "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 10:9 KJV "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:13 KJV "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 10:43 "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." Acts 13: 38-39 KJV "Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that [believe] are justified from [all things], from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses." Acts 16: 30-31 KJV "And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." John 3:16-18 KJV "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." Ephesians 1:12-13 "That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise" Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast." ("any man" is the "unbeliever" who never believed in Jesus. Because unbeliever's don't know they are not to count on their works as the way into heaven. For Jesus Christ requires faith in [his/Jesus's] work, for he is the Gate to heaven, on that narrow path that leads strait to the gate that is Christ Jesus.) Titus 3: 3-7 KJV "For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." ---------------------------------------------------------- The 10 Commandments 1. You shall have no other gods before Me. (Judah, Islam, Hindu, Jehovah witness, 7th day Adventists, Catholics, Mormons, Buddhists, agnostics, atheists,) 2. You shall make no idols. On average we all have broken these at least 100,000 times in our lifetime. If not, more.. Believing in Jesus Christ who made this Law of Moses obsolete by his sacrifice on the cross. Therefore, if you wish to enter Heaven, Jesus is the door to Heaven, and only a person who believes in him will be forgiven, washed new, and will enter new life for eternity, and will never ever die again, nor feel pain, sadness, etc.] ---------------------------------------------------------- The Most Misunderstood Verse in the Bible Matthew 7:21-23 KJV Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth [the will] of my Father which is in heaven. @@JesusIsRealJ1247 hey thanks for adding to the conversation I think my aim here is misunderstood which could have been my fault I am not of the belief that someone achieves heaven by their works / not even slightly of that belief I’m of the belief that truly coming into the gift of salvation produces a work in you that changed you The idea of just loosely saying I believe Roman’s 10:9, falls short of too many other scriptures about what salvation actually does to a person I said I believe in jesus as lord when I was a kid / mostly due to the tradition of my family I didn’t believe in Jesus in my heart, but I did say “Jesus is lord” no different than someone like Judas would have probably said - while I separately lived my life however I wanted to live because jesus wasn’t actually lord to me - it was just a club that I joined Personally, some may disagree, I don’t think that man that I was - was a saved man. I think he was in unrepentant liar who knew the right words to say Coming to Christ truly, it made me want to pursue The will of The lord, this isn’t what saved me but it surely showed the condition of my heart - it had been changed truly, the process of being sanctified was indeed a process But the desire toward Christ was drastically different, even though it im not a perfect man I’m willing to be honest that my previous condition only confessed Christ because I do isn’t like the idea of hell - not because I really believed in Christ as lord When the Holy Spirit comes upon someone it changes the persons heart toward sin, it brings conviction and a desire to repent I don’t personally believe a person has truly come to the faith if their is no conviction with sin or desire to pursue the will of the Lord There are MANY scriptures telling us about how we are to finish the race to enter the kingdom, there are many “work” related scriptures that prove a persons heart It doesn’t mean work saves you But work is relative to a change of heart

@@MatthewFayson I want to try to help simplify this breakdown for you in my replied remarks. Because you seem to be doing mental gymnastics with scripture. To a point verbally in your video that begins confusing the understanding of the gospel itself. Which I don't believe you intended. > "The idea of just loosely saying I believe Roman’s 10:9, falls short of too many other scriptures about what salvation actually does to a person" Salvation does [nothing] to a person in this realm where flesh & blood resides. What it does do, is give birth on the [other side] of the veil the holy spirit on their life's account [be born again]. For having solely decided to believe in Jesus Christ, and his finished work. That's it! Pretty awesome right? Don't worry about how deeply you believed. It really comes down to a decision through a "Choice". Not a "Feeling". When you understand the backstory of Lucifer, and his fall, and let alone his mind, which is all he is. You can understand what God says through Christ Jesus, when he makes declarations for things regarding salvation. Take this verse for example > Romans 10:9 KJV "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." You know how you and I have free-will? Lucifer would not confess God as is Holy, and "decided" to turn away from him through his own pride. Aka, rejected God, his creator. The very idea that one has the audacity to believe Jesus is God, and trust in him as their Lord and Savior. Is to do exactly the opposite of what Lucifer does. Which is what God aka "Jesus" needs from us first and last. After all, if you "desire" Jesus, you can be assured, you believed in your heart. The rest, he will take care of, after all, he is God. Am I Right? > "I don’t think that man that I was - was a saved man. I think he was in unrepentant liar who knew the right words to say " If you truly were of the devil's kind, you wouldn't have said those words. The part of your heart that yearns to be honest, and hopes you did it correct. Is the holy spirit within you, fighting to break free from the demons who have been following you for your whole life, tempting you into every sin you made. Same goes for all of us. At the end of it all, God will review our lives through every minute detail we've forgotten. His power is beyond our comprehension. For his desire is to save, not to condemn. The condemnation of man-like punishment is just a lie Lucifer uses to confuse us, for he is the author of confusion. God is love, and brings clarity, and understanding, and most importantly. Forgiveness! > "There are MANY scriptures telling us about how we are to finish the race to enter the kingdom, there are many “work” related scriptures that prove a persons heart" There are many false doctrines, and counterfeit bibles distorting the truth of God's word, and promises with lies, and omitting names, and verses. Except one, the KJV. I always try to remind people of the English Tongue. God purposely made 1 bible necessary for the English language to stand the test of time. The KJV is concise, to the point, and perfect like a sword with the word. It never subtracted, nor added anything from the Geneva, it only corrected it in typo's. Whereas any bible that came out after the KJV, did otherwise. F From the ASV all the way to the CSB of today. I own a few, and the KJV makes Jesus's declaration's simple, and understandable without any beating around the bush, or alternative descriptions. It definitely doesn't say anything is "difficult" or "hard" as the modern bibles do. Talking about the paths that are both strait, but one is wide and one is narrow. For one leads to Heaven and one to Hell.. I would just err on the side of caution when putting out video content that talks too deeply from a "personal" understanding about salvation to people. If one has not fully understood through study, and took their knowledge from hearsay of someone else, be it family, church, etc. They should always check the word for the facts. Unless you are a video creator who teaches how to read the word with the viewer. Because a lot of people don't know, and what we should be saying is short and sweet. "Believe in your heart Jesus Christ as your sole Lord and Savior, and his blood for his finished work for the redemption of your sins, you will go to heaven." Anything more that gets into theology is going to just confuse the listener, and the moment you create a "chore" list of verbal requirements, then people don't want to hear more. Or those like myself, will come in to correct the message & quote the bible where necessary outside of a discussion. Because let's be real, a lot of people do believe in Jesus, but never read more than a few pages or a chapter from the Bible. They are saved, but they don't exactly profit much from their lack of study. Especially if it comes to sharing the gospel. Which many are doing the latter very poorly by condemning people they are sinners, and they are better. When we're all the same. Just one believed, and the other hasn't. Yet, we all sin, and will until the day we die. I know my correcting remarks sparked anger which in turn became hatred in the eyes of the reader in this RU-vid comments section. That's a sin. But I'm no better than that person who did. I just don't claim I never sin. I sincerely pray this helps ease your worries. It took me a while to walk away from a Calvinist doctrine. But the more I read, and do so everyday. The better I understand, God made it stupid simple for all of us. We just have to trust in him, and by trust. Have faith, he will be there for us at our last breath.

You need to be careful with how you’re saying this. Salvation isn’t works based or behavioral based. It’s a trust, a firm belief in what Christ did for us. Yes, as Christians, we should be fruitful and avoid sin, striving for a godly lifestyle. However, people become lukewarm, or are led astray. That doesn’t take away their salvation. New Christians May struggle with old sinful habits and struggle to overcome them. That’s why the mercy of Jesus is what we must turn to. Ask for God to change our hearts and help us to resist sin.

Only if you wish to profit a Crown at your judgement. Not all who believe will do this, for no one is perfect as the Christ. The basis for "Sanctification" is to not appear as a hypocrite as many do today, but to help spread the gospel, and to show what Jesus taught. For one to walk in the new man is a good thing, but is not based on ones "Salvation." If one sins, god will punish them in their flesh by any means he see's necessary. But does not subtract from them of their right to go to heaven. For God loves all his creation too much to desire them to damnation with Lucifer. All it takes is to believe on the son, Jesus Christ as our savior. Through and through.

no one can even end all their sin since the sin nature always exists while we are in this current body. the lust of the flesh, eyes, and pride of life are of the world, but we are currently in that world and do these things. the flesh is not something pursued, but perpetually experienced. one of the ways the gospel is defined in the bible is : Christ in you, the hope of glory. the reason we have to hope is because we do not yet have that glory in its fullness. if you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, it begs the question as to where he went/ where he came from. the gospel is the hope to be in that place with him. no one needs a license to sin, since our nature itself is the power to sin. those who are saved are those who are known by God, the elect. all people, by nature of the imputed curse, do not know or want God. the only way out of that is supernatural intervention.

“To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
@BingoNamo-gb8pz

You have to understand what is “doing good” because only God is good. What does God do? God loves. God forgives. God shows mercy. God is long suffering. God keeps no record of wrongs. This is why eternal life is a free gift. Because God is good & does not make us earn eternal life. In the same way we do unto others & in so doing our faith is completed or perfected. By loving you, forgiving you, showing mercy to you, not holding your sins against you I am proving that I actually know God & Jesus Christ (which is eternal life). This is having faith in Christ because in Christ we have received forgiveness of sins, mercy, love, compassion. If it is true for me, it is true for you. Instead of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, now you do unto others as Christ has done unto you or do unto others as you would have God do unto you. It’s not that me forgiving you & showing you mercy & loving you saves me, but it proves (is a witness) that I believe God has forgiven me, been merciful to me & loves me. I am not being a hypocrite, which is the leaven of the Pharisees which Jesus says to beware of. Lest there be in your an evil heart of unbelief. See, by not loving you, not forgiving you, not being merciful to you I am proving I have an evil heart of unbelief. I don’t actually believe God loves, God forgives, God is merciful. He who is forgiven much loves much. If you don’t love others you don’t believe you’re forgiven. This is why the love of God was not in the Pharisees because they rejected forgiveness & boasted in their own righteousness as if they never sinned & did not need God’s mercy or forgiveness. So many of Jesus’s parables & commands drive this point home. But like I said, we love because He FIRST loved us. Now that we have received His love we can love one another. The more you understand grace & the more you live by grace the more you will walk in love. If salvation were not a free gift we would never walk in love because we wouldn’t know what love is. God making it a free gift is what teaches us true love. Grace teaches us. By grace are you saved through faith, it is the gift of God. Faith in what? Faith in the unfailing love of God. Faith in the blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins. He loved not His life unto death. He laid down His life as a ransom for many. As we behold Him we are being transformed into His same image, from glory to glory.

I like how you address this issue about people being led astray from what their teachers told them. People need to understand that most teachers don't have the answers. Alura Cein and myself are trying to wake people up to the truth. What you put into your mind goes with you and what is in your heart shows Heavenly Father who you are as a person. People are being tested and the criminals change with the times without questioning. Heavenly Father has sent messengers to guide people. Alura has taught me well. Verily, people have been lied to or misled for a long time because they don't know how to interpret the real meanings behind the scriptures.

@@natedaboi1608 hey my man, I hope I can simplify this a bit 1. We are saved by Jesus Christ - We cannot do any work that will save us. Once you sin - you can longer do anything to perfect yourself. Jesus is the only one who is perfect So my reliance for salvation is COMPLETELY trusting that Jesus has the authority to stand on my place and overcome sin for me. 2. Once we understand that Jesus is perfect, has no blemish, and was the sacrifice paying for our sin, once we acknowledge him as lord and believe in Gods power to raise Jesus from the dead, we receive the Holy spirit The Holy Spirit is what helps us to stay away from sin So I don’t want you to think that you need to do a bunch of stuff to get saved. I have mentioned this to a few others. Consider the video with these thoughts in mind and I think it clears uo what I was trying to express. 1. We are Saved by the Grace of God through our Faith. There is no amount of work that saves us. Whether that work is fulfilling commandments, being charitable, being a good person, etc NO WORK SAVES YOU 2. But when you Confess/Agree that Jesus is Lord, you are stating that you are willing to submit to his authority over you. Rather than being your own God or submitting to any other God, you bend your knee to Jesus. Which does produce work/actions that reflect Jesus. That doesn't mean that I act perfect. It means my pursuit is his Spirit and not to carelessly live according to my own flesh 3. When you Believe that God raises Jesus from the dead. You should also know why he did it. Jesus is killed to pay the cost of sin, When he's raised back up, God is displaying His Divinity, His Power, His Authority, & Truth. To believe that God raised him from the Grave is to believe that Jesus was prophetically true about who he was and also that The Father in Heaven has the ultimate power over all things, even that which defies nature. He's Supernatural. Which is important to believe because we cannot naturally cleanse ourselves with works, we need a supernatural cleanser & a supernatural encounter to cleanse us or we would need to die (do to our sin) - I think we agree on that part....but 4. When we come into realization of this, we also inherit the Holy Spirit, which gives us authority over sin the same way Jesus had authority over sin. It also gives us conviction to care for the things that Jesus cares for. Which is completely unnatural to someone who is not born again. My ability to refrain from sin, is not due to my discipline or will power. My ability to refrain from sin has nothing to do with my "works" but everything to do with the work of the Holy Spirit working in me that produces a work/evidence 5. When I say our work is evidence of salvation, I'm really trying to say that the Holy Spirit working within me, Provokes Goodness, and it provokes an objection to sin (pursuit of righteousness). It isn't that I'm working my way to salvation, it's that salvation is actually working on me and in me and it shows up in my actions. 6. A person who is not changing or at least convicted of change / desiring change etc they aren't reborn. They are still in the nature of the flesh - even if they said Jesus is Lord. Specifically because they honor him with their lips but their heart is far from him

I am saved by my faith in Lord Jesus Christ alone for my salvation. The Holy Spirit now dwells within me. The Holy Spirit convicts me of my sin. I am gradually changing because I am saved. And then I’ve heard there isn’t enough we could do , it’s not possible because we are sinners no matter what. I think what I feel but I could be wrong is to try your best and God will judge your heart based on your effort but I think believing what Jesus did probably is the most important thing and keeping that in your mind when faced with choices here. I know a lot of Christians first believed the gospel then got super involved in church & became religious hypocrites, boasting in themselves & condemning everyone else. If those people truly believe their sins are forgiven as a free gift from God, they will treat others with the same love & live life accordingly. They will have the witness in themselves. It’s not so much about what is happening on the outside (what most Christians tend to look at) but what is in their heart. We’re saved by believing the Gospel. Period. If you believe that Jesus paid for all of your sins by shedding his blood and dying on the cross and rose from the dead, YOU ARE SAVED. A changed lifestyle isn’t what saves you or even proves you’re saved. Following Jesus has to do with discipleship, not salvation. The will of the father is to believe the record that God gave of his son (Jesus), which is that he died, was buried, and rose again the third day for your sins. It’s that easy. Anything other than simply believing in Jesus is a false gospel. Repentance is simply a change of mind. It is NOT turning from sins. If turning from sins was required to get to heaven then we’re all going to Hell. If we’re not saved by works, then works cannot be the evidence that we’re really saved. That’s a huge contradiction. Think about it.

I’m preaching a Gospel about what it looks like when Jesus is Lord over you. Jesus requires our obedient heart. That doesn’t mean we never make mistakes. It means our eye is focused on his kingdom and his spirit, our intentions are to operate according to Godly Love and to refrain from sin. We water this down and create a really dangerous environment for ourselves and others. I imagine the disciples doing everything they could to pursue righteousness through Christ. His death and resurrection are the things that give us the authority that we did not have under the law. (We lacked the Holy Spirit) as we Pursue the Holy Spirit we are empowered (not by our works) but by his spirit Our “works” are not what get us to heaven, but they are surely a response to whether or not we believe the Power of God at heart. My goal is to empower believers to understand that we have an authority to pursue the Holy Spirit and to live in the Holiness that God calls us to but it’s only through a true gospel Matthew 7:21-23 [21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. - Luke 6:46 [46] And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? - Romans 8:1 [1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, (who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.) - Romans 8:4 [4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. - Romans 8:6-7 [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

@@MatthewFayson The people in Matthew 7 are FALSE PROPHETS who trusted in their WORKS to get them to heaven. That’s why Jesus told them to depart from him because he NEVER knew them. They never trusted in Jesus alone for salvation. It wasn’t that they weren’t doing good works or doing the “will” of the father by doing more good deeds. The will of the father is to believe on the son (Jesus Christ) You cannot use works as the proof of salvation. Matthew 7 proves this. You’re contradicting yourself by saying that works don’t get you saved, BUT if you’re “really” saved you’ll have good works to prove it by living a holy life. You are mixing salvation and discipleship together. They are not the same thing. Salvation is a one time event when you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as the sufficient payment for your sins. When you believe the gospel you are eternally saved from that moment on. How you live your life after that has to do with spiritual growth, or discipleship. Once you marry the two together, you are absolutely trusting in YOUR works as a part of your salvation.

@@HarpsDad22 1. I genuinely appreciate your dialogue 2. Humility - my ability to “do good” has nothing to do with my personal ability to do good. I’m filthy. My work can’t do anything for me. The point of my work is not to save me. Salvation is by the grace of God through our faith But I do I have involvement in whether or not I inherit the kingdom of God. Because of his grace through my faith it is not of my works that God has presented this opportunity and there is no point of me even trying to WORK my debt off with good deeds My work doesn’t cause God to send Jesus for Me. My work also cannot delete my sins (this is the purpose of Jesus doing what he did) So Jesus is the only one to forgive sin and that happens by grace through faith - I think we agree on that But now that this is established - I have a choice to make. I either yield to him as Lord and pursuit the spirit that he gave us to have power of sin OR I continue in sin WILLFULLY which is truly a sign that I do not understand the purpose of the cross and or the purpose of the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit gives us a power over sin and also certain types of supernatural gifting If I reject the Holy Spirit, reject the power over sin, and continue after the fleshly state I have not truly come into agreement with christ. If I’m not in agreement with Christ - he is not Lord over me My work doesn’t save me. Separate from the cross my work means nothing But after the understanding of the cross, the work I do (whether it be in loving others or choosing to do evil) has EVERYTHING to do with the true condition of my heart Jesus gives us very fair warnings about the need for a seed sewn (hearing the gospel and receiving it) needing to actually mature into good fruit Many people who say Jesus is Lord will not enter the kingdom of heaven because the position of their heart - you’re 100% correct Matthew 7 isn’t strictly talking about religious leaders ANYONE who calls Jesus Lord and has no agreement with obedience to him doesn’t truly have him as lord over them. Our faith in Christ, must promote a life in Christ and after the Holy Spirit Those are not my words those are the words of Scripture Roman’s 8 talks about it a lot

John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him may not perish but have eternal life notice it's says believe in him not receive and it says eternal life Not conditional, not if you do good deeds. Eternal eternal means for all eternity Ephesians 2: 8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and it's not from your self's it's a gift of God not by works so that no one can boast Notice it says we are saved by grace. A gift from God so we won't boast. Not by our works. It's very clear that all the work Christ did on the cross. For our salvation. It's. What save does if we're depending on our works Is we are depending on sinners , which will not Give a salvation only Is believing what jesus did on the cross And daddy died for you and god rose him up from the dead That's the proper way and the only way to heaven John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him. Those who believed in his name, he gave the Power become children of God. the moment you hear a man say "we're not saved by works" you already know he has no clue what the verse means he is quoting and definitely learned from some you tube short magician or the likes . Paul is talking about the works of the old covenant , the law , you could just as accurately replace the word works with "law of Moses" and say " we are not saved by the law of Moses" . The works James is talking about , is obedience , and this we are saved by regardless if you like it or believe it or not , faith without works is dead and a man is not justified by faith alone . If you do not have the fruit , your faith was dead and you will be the dry branch from John 15 , you are the person from timothy heaping up teachers to your itchy ears because you did not want to live for God or serve God , you wanted a free pass out of hell while living for yourself . let's keep this really simple , hebrews 5:9 says Jesus is the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him and does not say those who believe him , even the demons believe , we did not get here because adam did not believe in God , he did not obey God . The point of your faith is your obedience because it is your disobedience that separates you from God and disobedience comes from those who do not believe God , faith is your foundation for obedience . You can say you believe God , but if you deny him in works , you don't , you believe in whatever you feel like believing , you believe in false doctrines from men , like Jesus said , why call me Lord and do not the things I say , sounds like he wants works from you , obedience , why isn't he just happy you call him Lord with your mouth and believe in your heart? the bible needs to be read as an entire message and not 1 verse or scattered verses even , yes we believe , yes its by grace , yes its by faith , but all of this does not all of a sudden make obedience disappear , you still need to crucify the flesh , take up your cross , deny yourself daily , work out your own salvation with fear , save yourselves from this untoward generation and so on , all found in scriptures they never quote . you know why they do not quote them? they are not of God , they don't have his spirit , they are making money , getting fame online and don't wanna mess it all up , they like their perks and connections and success and the church buildings are doing the same on smaller scales . just trust Jesus Christ , the word , get a King James , don't fall for this all translations are Gods word , its nonsense , get a KJB , stop saying Gods a trinity , repent of your sin , get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and not his titles , live holy for God and out of love , you will indeed serve him , I don't feel forced to serve God , I love my Father , I wanna see his plan succeed and be apart of it . if you deny this , its at your own destruction , but I tried and God tried through me and others , there is no rapture coming for you before Jesus arrives at the end , you need to follow the above and endure as a light in the darkness , stop falling for these false doctrines , get a sound mind , study to show thyself approved.

You are literally walking back what Jesus did on the cross for our redemption and making it about never sinning. We are incapable of not sinning. It is a lesson learned throughout the ENTIRE Bible. Check out Romans 7: 14-25 as one example. And the Bible is NOT one book as you claim in the beginning of your video, it is a compilation of many books. Did you seek the Lord's wisdom before posting this? If you are seriously thinking what you say here is Jesus' Truth I am afraid you have been deceived by the enemy. Many who are saved are under extreme spiritual attack right now because we are in the end times. I will pray that Jesus confirms/reaffirms the real Truth of His sacrifice for you.

Nothing about what I said denies anything about what Jesus did on the cross. As I’ve mentioned before We are saved purely by the grace of God through our faith. Our work has nothing to do with washing away our sin. In this way - works aren’t related to salvation We cannot work our way into erasing our sin. But if we look at the conversation of salvation in its entirety - we find that anyone truly coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ / anyone who has confessed Jesus as Lord is supernatural moved toward consecration which can only happen through the grace of God. Our work does not save us, but continued sinful behavior is evidence that we have not been renewed. If we then deny that renewal we are indeed denying the Holy Spirit - you cannot be saved and deny the Holy Spirit at once This is all well documented in Roman’s In addition to this - we have to open our minds to the words Jesus spoke Matthew 7:21 - not all who call me lord will enter the kingdom but those who do the will of my father. This isn’t because our work saves us, but it is because our submission to Christ causes the work of Christ to be done in and through us Though I respect what you’re trying to communicate, I would very much like for you to speak from scripture and not from tradition My scriptural references have been stated Matthew 7:21 Luke 6:46 Roman’s 8:1 (specifically the latter half of that verse) Roman’s 8:4 (the latter half) Roman’s 8:14 Then I’m interested to know why Jesus tells the rich young ruler to give away his possessions - my understanding is that the work / willingness to give away his possession revealed the true condition of what was in his heart Our unwillingness to pursue the spirit of God / yield to Jesus with obedience is a pure evidence that we either don’t truly believe in the depth of our heart or that we believe but are Luke warm

It also put a conviction on me to add clarity which I noticed was needed after reading your comment. I don’t want anyone to feel as if they are being condemned but I also don’t mind someone questioning themselves - sometimes we need those questions to drive us into real relationship Lastly I don’t want anyone to think that they can work themselves into Gods grace, what I’m attempting to communicate is that once confession of Christ happens, there should be a shift of the spirit This doesn’t mean I am perfect in my actions, but rather than I have inherited a spirit of obedience that causes me to pursue the spirit rather than the flesh Something I wish that I would’ve added - we can’t look at each other’s “sins” and decide who is saved vs who is not We are all in different seasons of transformation I have certain struggles that you don’t have but if I am saved I will be in pursuit of obedience rather than in pursuit of satisfying my flesh That’s my opinion based on my understanding of scripture

Brother, don't diminish the power of faith. Faith alone is ENOUGH to get you saved. However, true faith always produces fruits. And don't judge people with little fruits. There might be something they don't know. Maybe they misunderstand God. Maybe the pastor isn't that good at teaching. Just because they have little fruits doesn't mean they're not saved. And pursuing the spirit of God doesn't get you saved either because we're saved by grace, not by our works. You know this and explained this well in the video. Don't fight sins with the law because the power of sin is the law. The more law you give people to do, the more sins they'll do. Do you want people to obey and trust God? Then teach them how much God loves them! Not scare them! If we know we're loved so much by God, we will stop wanting to sin. Also, you need to know your real identity. We are a 3-part being: spirit, soul, and body. The real us is the spirit, not the soul and body (the flesh). If we keep saying, don't sin, don't sin, don't sin, we'll sin in the end. But if we BELIEVE that we are God's children. We are His favorites. We have died with Christ. We are a new creature. The old us has died. Then we'll have the power to get out of sins. Basically, if you are a tree and you want to produce oranges, you have to become an orange tree. If you are an apple tree, you'll never produce apples no matter how much you try. The good news is that when we are saved, we get to be Children of God. We are like Jesus. We are Jesus tree now and if we keep believing, we'll produce Jesus's fruits soon. We are not sinners anymore. We are righteous through Christ. Please do try to read Romans again through the lens of LAW vs Grace. Flesh vs Spirit. And you'll see it more clearly. Let the love of God and His grace do the work because the goodness of God leads you to repentance. No rush! Everyone's growing like a tree. It'll take time. God bless you. I'd love to talk with you though. If you want to, please let me know. I'll email you.

Brother, I see your zeal for the Lord and your genuine heart for others to know Him, so I encourage you to get deeper in the scriptures and ask God for more revelation of His wonderful grace. Salvation is that easiest thing to acquire in this world, all it takes is faith. Yes, it’s that simple and easy. Confessing with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believing with our hearts he rose from the dead is all it it takes, no questions asked. No amount of “repenting, turning away from sin, following Jesus” can get us saved, it’s all by His grace. All these things are fruits, not roots of our salvation, because otherwise, if we had any strength to do them for salvation, Christ didn’t need to come to live a perfect life for us, be fully obedient to God, fulfill the Law, then die and resurrect. All the verses you pointed that seemingly seems to contradict simply believing and confessing for salvation, must be interpreted in their context, as you rightly pointed. Context is key. I’ll give you a clue: Romans 7-8 is dealing with law (self effort, i.e flesh) v. grace (e.i the spirit).

Hey my man thanks for your comment I’ve left this comment on a few others responses here. It may detail more of my thought 1. It means my pursuit is his Spirit and not to carelessly live according to my own flesh. So I’m actively searching scripture and allowing the Bible to correct me, doing that willfully (this doesn’t save me but it’s wise to do) 3. Which is important to believe because we cannot naturally cleanse ourselves with works, we need a supernatural cleanser & a supernatural encounter to cleanse us or we would need to die (do to our sin) 4. This video is challenging the idea of “confessing something with your mouth that you don’t truly believe” Belief in Christ ALWAYS produces fruit

I have always believed what you're saying I have always believed that people have Grace so confused. My biggest fear is I don't know that I grasped the will of the Father. Is it just to repent and live as sin free life as possible? I was raised in church and Christian School an my faith is so strong but I am and have always been freaking out about that one scripture you just read and I'm afraid that Jesus will tell me he never knew me because I don't understand the will of the Father for my life.

@@sharpuverse7465 Hey, here’s my understanding 1. It means my pursuit is his Spirit and not to carelessly live according to my own flesh. So I’m actively searching scripture and allowing the Bible to correct me, doing that willfully (this doesn’t save me but it’s wise to do) 3. Which is important to believe because we cannot naturally cleanse ourselves with works, we need a supernatural cleanser & a supernatural encounter to cleanse us or we would need to die (do to our sin) 4. Specifically because they honor him with their lips but their heart is far from him. So to sum all of that up, the only way to heaven is to place your faith in Jesus Christ as lord and belief in the power/purpose of his mission on earth / God raising Jesus from the dead When you’ve truly come to this point in faith, you receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is what seals you. The Lord is abundantly Good, so faithful and forgiving, don’t let this post scare you and put you in constant fear let it aware you and provoke you to seek the Father. Lastly, we must forgive others to be forgiven by the Lord

Let me make this clear. We Christians believe the Bible is infallible and inerrant. Therefore, there are no half-truth about the Bible's teachings. Romans 10:9 clearly states "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;" If you confess Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe in what the Bible teaches, it means God the Father has called you, because you were written in the book of life before the foundations of the world (Matthew 25:34) and Jesus will make sure you will be saved (John 3:14-18).

Hey Victor, 1. Thank you for defending the gospel, I have the same goal. 2. Acts 3:19 - You have to turn from sin and this demonic world. 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 Come from among them 1 Peter 2:9 -We are a chosen generation. Peculiar people from a royal priesthood. God called us out of darkness unto his marvelous light. 2 Corinthians 6:14 Light and darkness don’t mix. Philippians 2:15-18 , Psalm 19:13 Blameless and pure . Revelation 7:14 Washing your own robe in the blood 🩸 of the lambs and be beheaded in the 7 year tribulation if you are lift behind after the rapture. Hebrews: 10:22-24 washed in the blood before the rapture 🩸 Act 2 Filled with the power of the Holy Ghost that keeps you from sinning. 2 Chronicles 7:14 God said if my people are called by my name and turn from their wicket was then will I hear from heaven and heal their land. You came so close, my friend. Why stop short of obeying God’s command to be baptized for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:37-38)? To wash away your sins (Acts 22:16)? To be saved (Mark 16:16; 1 Peter 3:21)? To be born of water and Spirit (John 3:5)? It is no more a work of man than repentance and living faithfully. It is the work of God (Colossians 2:12). It is what the Ethiopian eunuch did in Acts 8 after Philip “preached Jesus to him.” How would the Ethiopian know to ask for water baptism unless Philip had preached it as part of preaching Jesus? You are on the right track, and SO close! Think about this: You mentioned context in Romans. The same goes for Ephesians. Paul wasn’t saying in Ephesians 2 that God has no requirements of us. Look at the context of “works” there. He was talking about the works of the law of Moses. Water baptism is the mode which God has chosen to wash us in His blood. Romans 6 says “united with Him IN THE LIKENESS of His death.” and “IN THE LIKENESS of His resurrection.” What can be more “in the likeness” of that than immersion in and emergence from water? That is the likeness of his death, burial, and resurrection - the gospel. Romans 6 is describing how we “obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.” The Bible tells us that Jesus will take “vengeance on those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord, Jesus.” (2 Thessalonians 1:8). Obey it in faith and be saved! God, by grace, gave us His plan to save us. That is “by grace.” Our part is to believe him enough to obey His command. That is “through faith.” So, yes, we are indeed saved by grace, through faith. Without God’s plan that HE made, nothing we could ever do would save us. We could dip ourselves in water a million times, and it would be nothing more than getting wet. It’s true - God’s plan of salvation is “not of ourselves.” Not OF us. We didn’t invent it or give it its power - we can’t. Acknowledging that water immersion is part of that plan does not negate God’s grace in any way. Just like Noah couldn’t take credit for saving himself by building an ark, we can’t take credit for baptism’s power to save us. We merely submit in obedience through faith to what God has commanded. It’s power to save us is God’s power by his grace, obeyed by us through faith. Do you understand?

Believing on the Lord Jesus, will not save anyone. It is written, the demons believe and tremble. In (Acts 2:38);Peter said, believe and repent. The Holy Ghost must indwell you, and you must obey the scriptures. Even demon possessed illuminati members profess to be Christians, but they are boldfaced liars. It is written in (Rom.8:9) any man not having the Spirit of Christ doesn't belong to him. We must walk in holiness or you will be rejected by God. IT IS WRITTEN, WITHOUT HOLINESS, NO MAN SHALL SEE GOD.

Just depends on what someone means by belief True Belief in Christ, true confession of his lordship and belief that God raised him from the dead is what saved everyone But sometimes people think “saying it with your mouth” = belief Belief in christ is what causes obedience, it causes consecration, etc So belief in him is the key to salvation but it needs to be belief in his saving grace to the point of truth not just a thing you do with your lips

my view on people with addiction struggles. Many addictions that people have.. hardly changes God's view of that person. What is really important in my mind is the person must be honest with themselves and with God. But it's hard when a person doesn't even know they themselves are deceived. I want to quote Matthew 7:22... to point out deception.. however.. i don't think the passage is specifically teaching it's a "truth in your own heart" issue.. BUT.. that's what i'd like you to consider as you view this quote. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? The will of the Father is in John 6:40. It sats, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” It is not a “holy” lifestyle. Your lifestyle proves nothing. Catholics, Mormons, Hindus, Jews and atheists have changed lifestyles. But they are not saved because they have not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is very simple. You believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God in the flesh, that he died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. @@ReligiouslyIncorrect I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m saying Or maybe I’m Not clear and if so I’m happy to correct myself / be corrected 1. Like I mentioned there is nothing that can save a person separate from the work of Jesus Christ. And then, of course, we have to put our faith in him, confessing that he is the Lord, and that God raised him from the dead. Which has meaning behind it 2. My challenge to the Western world is genuinely a challenge of what it means to have faith and my assumption is that this is where you and I might be disagreeing. I’ll preface this by saying I’m not of the belief that any man or woman can work themselves into the perfection of Christ you can’t do enough work to get into heaven as I mentioned before that was the work of Jesus separately, I take Romans 10 nine very seriously when it says to confess that Jesus is the Lord, and my understanding of Lord means that he becomes the authority of my life, if we look into the ancient world, those following Jesus did not simply say with their mouth that Jesus is the Messiah as some loose statement, the way that we’ve learned to do it in our culture in that world it was a known that you could physically lose your life for saying that Jesus was the Lord in public. You could lose your life for blasphemy. And still the disciples and followers of Christ in that time had a true conviction of who Jesus was which led them to a confession that resonated in their heart In our modern world, many of us learned to say, Jesus was Lord, simply through a tradition simultaneously having zero relationship with him completely neglecting, avoiding quenching the Holy Spirit pursuing our will and desires relentlessly without any desire to even think of the will of God What do you think this means? This is not preaching that works saves you. It’s preaching that anyone who is save because of the work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit will be in pursuit and therefore will be productive to some degree not because their production saves them, but because their salvation causes production. I don’t want this to get confused. Every ones production is going to vary and it’s not for any man to look at another man and simply say nope you did this. Therefore you’re going to hell or you didn’t do this. You’re going to hell that is not my point , but if Jesus can look at a Pharisee and say although you called me lord you are far from me, he’s proving that lip service doesn’t work with the father Jesus came to fulfill the consequence of the law , he didn’t come to permit us to be seekers of pleasure and seekers of the flesh His grace doesn’t just save it empowers us to be within his will I’d also say we should consider what got us into this boat - the disobedience of Adam and Eve So why would Grace be a permission for disobedience - it’s not, it’s simply a sign of love for us as we fall short We may even go through a long season of backsliding - we know Christ is still married to those who truly believe In no way am I saying be faultless or go to hell I’m saying don’t get Grace mixed up and permit yourself to pursue what God hates as a abuse of grace

@@blitz2725 that’s the interesting thing about the kingdom - that man’s heart, Jesus knew that it was truly for him. For that man to recognize the purity of Christ in that moment of complete suffering, for him to realize the glory of Jesus, was only revealed by the power of God. Personally, I imagine this man, could see the suffering of Christ and knew something was different about him - in his heart He realized the truth, even though it was the last “hour” of that man’s life. I believe if his physical life was spared, he would’ve become like the disciples, pursuing the will of God. It’s hard to imagine knowing the truth about Jesus and rejected to fully pursue Him. It’s hard to imagine understanding the purpose of the Holy Spirit and then simultaneously saying “I’m going to do whatever I want” it just doesn’t mix, so I believe that man would’ve pursued righteousness through Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit if he remained alive Lastly I don’t think there is a special treatment for being in the “club” longer than someone else. Specifically relating to salvation but once you’re in heaven I do believe the rewards are different. I could look and say “that’s not fair” or I could look and say “thank you lord for your mercy on that man’s life, even in the last hour” That’s my opinion

That is why the man who hears christs preaching and does "builds his house on a rock", and those who do not are serving "both God and mammon". @@MatthewFayson fwiw, this is coffee shop Matt. You know that the snake staff moses used to repel the adders became an idol? In the second book of kings that the staff was destroyed because the people weren't respecting it properly. Similar to how God rebuked folk who were worshipping the moon in isaiah - the new moon was meant to be a psychological aid indicating that "you always have the chance to renew", but it became effectively a per-verse replacement for God's uni-versal (and beyond!) nature. For too many people, Jesus has gone the way of the staff of Moses- an incredibly appropriate analogy given that Jesus himself suggested his purpose was likened unto the staff of Moses. The godspells were meant to direct folks attention back to the Father who is All, Jesus never wanted worship. "None are good but god", "be ye perfect as the father is perfect", "it is not me who speaks but the father". Etc. Unfortunately folk worship Jesus/christ, this isn't really correct. They think the name is special, they think the per-son is special; in a sense they aren't wrong, he was a very unique man and a blessing to humanity. But his name is not important, nor his sonship imho - what is most important is that we emulate his behavior, which re-son-ates easily with humanity because the law is already written on our hearts per jeremiah(I think, maybe isaiah. In emulating Jesus we are respecting the law that is already on our hearts and thus the eye becomes single. By emulating christ we align our mind/body/spirit with the Father, this is the purpose of jesus. I'm ADD I think 😄 lmk of that clarifies my stance. Confessing Jesus as lord and saying I’m going to live my way and please myself how I like isn’t an agreement that he’s lord. So we need to ask what does it mean to believe. We are filthy rags, there is nothing that a human being can do to EARN salvation. Even if you did all the good work in the world, you’re already dirty. No amount of good work can cleanse you to perfection which is why Jesus is in charge of perfecting us. 2. When you have truly placed your faith in Christ, it will become evident through conviction (which the law of God and Holy Spirit help us to realize) 3. When you truly have placed your faith in Christ it changes your heart from desiring to please yourself at all cost, to then, desiring to do the will of the father which includes produces good work. 4. Your good work cannot save you, but the absence of pursuing the goodness of the Lord, pursuing the Holy Spirit, being unrepentant, etc is evidence that you do not understand the gospel and you’ve probably been fed part of a message and not the whole thing. @medic4christ777 if you’d like to argue against that - go for it. If you need me to justify each and every point I’ll put the scriptures right here for everyone to see Romans 10:9 is not intended to give you an entire story. It is 100% accurately but it is not the entirety of the story. Scripture is not supposed to be isolated, it needs context - which means you have to read scripture with other scripture The same man that said confess with your mouth also said pursue the spirit and not the flesh, he also said if you do not have the spirit, you are not a child of God Are you arguing with me or Paul ?

@MatthewFayson

@@Diegocasto920 Hey Man, this is usually what happens when we “quench” the Holy Spirit. God gives us law to reveal right and wrong / good and evil etc But he gives us the Holy Spirit for conviction and also for power The same spirit that helps us to feel conviction, gives us power over sin Some things that may help you in no particular order 1. Read the Bible - Hebrews 4:12 says that the Bible is like a sharp sword that can cut through you and get to the core of who you are. The Bible reveals to us the truth of what’s in our heart. Sometimes we don’t realize how filthy we are, the Bible can show us but it also gives us solutions to fix the filth. If you don’t think the Bible is true…you may want to ask yourself why and then make sure you’re not believing regurgitated lies (people have tried to debunk the Bible for a long time) how come no one has succeeded yet 2. Pray and ask God for his forgiveness and mercy, ask him to help you in the areas that you’re weak and be willing to do the work. 3. Trying to feel remorse without having fundamental beliefs about the Holy Spirit usually doesn’t work out well. The Holy Spirit carries the ability to judge you into conviction but also has the power to help you to overcome sin. You’ve got to start working on not ignoring the Holy Spirit, you’ve probably silenced The Holy Spirit far too long and now you need to repent and ask the Lord for help. 4. The really positive and hopeful aspect of all of this is that you’re actually expressing conviction right now, the desire to feel conviction is conviction in itself. Conviction that you don’t feel conviction is still conviction. But you’ve gotten strengthen yourself in the word, pursue the spirit of God, pursue the kingdom of God. It’s everyday not just one and done

@@Diegocasto920 this may sound simple - but when you get the nudge, start responding to it I did a video about addiction on my channel, go watch it and I explain this a little bit. I can almost guarantee that you’ll begin to realize that nudge before doing something that you shouldn’t If you genuinely feel as if you have no small nudge to reconsider your thoughts after this, maybe this is a thing of revisiting the conversation of salvation and whether or not your faith is in Christ. If there is legitimately no conviction about wrong doing and no desire to change it’s usually a sign that someone is not reborn / saved But you seem to have a desire for change which tells me you probably have more conviction than you even realize Now it’s time to start listening to that conviction - watch that video and then let me know if it helps

@MatthewFayson
@MatthewFayson Месяц назад
Hey, great question. Here’s my understanding. 1. Do you best to learn the character of God, through what he’s done (sending his son to cover you) that’s a level of love that I don’t even understand and he’s done that for you. So first he loves you way more than any person. We also learn to forgive 7x70 in Matthew 18:22 - so we know the lord has an ability to forgive to extreme depths. BUT, there is some nuance. Not because God can’t forgive but because the effects of sin If you read Hebrews 3:8-12 ….you learn that a person of faith can actually reject the Holy Spirit to pursue sin and when you make a habit of rejecting the Holy Spirit, your heart becomes harden to The Lord. Every time I pursue sin, even after feeling that conviction, I’m not just rejecting my mind but im more so, rejecting the Spirit of God. The only reason you have conviction is because God is sending it through his Spirit and through his word. If you continue to reject that “voice”, you place yourself in danger of tuning it all the way out. At that point it’s only a matter of time before you reject the Holy Spirit all together and now you fall into the only unforgivable sin - blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. If you reject the spirit that brings conviction and correction - you’ll never have conviction or correction The danger here isn’t Gods unforgiveness, it’s our departure from God, that happens often times because of the deception of sin Does that make sense ? Also, we should really have desire to go beyond “can I sin and go to heaven” The Lord has so much more in store for you, but how would we ever get to that level of glory if we don’t first submit ourselves to his will Many Christian’s only focus on salvation and that’s not the will of Jesus Salvation is just the entry point into the rest of the stuff When you experience the higher levels of glory your taste for sin really begins to diminish

If you still CARE about Jesus that means you're alright. There's no too deep and too dark place that Jesus cannot get you out of. You might think that you keep sinning too much, but Jesus Christ has got waaaayyyy more forgiveness than your sins. Repent. And try hard not to sin. We will never be sinless...

@@Diegocasto920 this isn’t a place for our egos to clash. To be very clear - I don’t believe that someone is “doing it wrong” when they confess that Jesus is Lord, I do believe that many people say this loosely off of a somewhat emotional experience, never realizing the truth of what they are saying. I do believe that many people who say they are “Christian” have no care for the work of Christ. I’m not condemning them, I’m doing what I believe Paul did in scripture - he worked on his pride and did his best job to help others who were “believers” Personally I don’t believe in the idea of “just say it and you’re good” I believe the Holy Spirit seals you, but many who say Jesus is Lord have no relationship to the Holy Spirit…which typically displays that they weren’t truly reborn. I said Jesus was Lord while simultaneously not caring anything about Jesus, scripture, or Holiness This isn’t about me being perfect or working my way to heaven, the fruit of my life showed the truth of my heart

he's not saying it's faith plus works. The bible is clear.. there is nothing you can offer God to buy favor with him. Isaiah 64:6 " our righteousnesses are as filthy rags". Do you not know the example Jesus talks about of the 2 men that went to the temple to pray "the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner."

@@user-bn4hr1cz1u The KJV makes it very clear that we are not to worship idols, and declare other Gods with our faith. Mother Mary is not someone anyone should worship, or pray to. Nor to Idolize the Pope. As a matter of fact, the Pope Francis publicly declared Jesus failed on the Cross. This can even be found recorded on RU-vid. Catholics, as with Mormons and others have a great deal to worry about their Salvation. Because they do not solely believe on the only begotten son of God, Jesus Christ & his blood [aka work]. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth [the will] of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. > Jesus is talking about the Jews in this passage, because he knew they would not [repent] of their current faith for him, and believe he was the messiah that was to come to save them. This passage does not apply in anyway to Christians, because we believe solely in Jesus Christ. Mormons, and Catholics, Jehovah witnesses, Seven Day Adventists, including Jews, Islamic, Hindu, Agnostics, Atheists, etc. should very much worry about this verse because they don't have their faith placed in him & his blood. The bible answer: John 6:38-40 KJV For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the [will of him] that sent me. And this is the [Father's will] which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And [this is the will of him that sent me,] that every one which seeth the Son, and [believeth on him,] may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. [To believe only in Jesus Christ, is to do the [will] of the Father. Do that, and you will never hear those words uttered from Jesus himself after death at your judgement.]
