Just because you're a main Nurse, or just playing a Nurse, doesn't mean you're sweating for 4K instead of fun. I'm dedicating all my Nurse game to play builds you won't expect on her, for the sole purpose of bringing something new for the players I'm facing. I'm mostly playing with Bamboozle, Brutal Strenght, Hex: Blood Favor and the last one depends of the mood, at the moment I'm using Dissolution. And for add-ons, I'm using Ataxic Respiration and Spasmodic Breath, which makes me move faster after a blink attack but seal my power for 60 sec. If I don't play this build, I'm for a No TR build with Dark Devotion, Hex: Plaything, Hysteria and Tinkerer, as for the add-ons, "Bad-Man's" Last Breath with something depending of the mood too, for now it's Bad Man Keepsake, which emulate Nurse's Calling. And I freaking love when the survivors are saying in the endgame lobby that it's refreshing to face something like this. Because yeah, not everyone is playing for the win, especially on Nurse. So next time, avoid assuming things before knowing, thanks :)
The never ending cycle, killers become nurse mains to be able to deal with sweaty 4 mans, and survivors become sweaty 4 mans to be able to match nurse.
It’s funny because the only reason why her kill rate was so low was because everybody DC against nurse 😂 it was actually quite funny that they didn’t understand this data 😂😂😂.

I did it in one match using Oni's perk which makes you obsession if you stun killer. You should probably used that perk better to have warm heart that cold is nlt good for you.
I bring Furtive Chase (Ghostface perk). Just hook the obsession and let someone unhook her- they become the obsession immediately and your terror radius is reduced. It’s a very efficient way to do the “hook the obsession X times in a single match” type of challenges.
@@pena380 During that stretch, my MMR was juuust high enough that I was getting swfs that knew how to trade hits/hooks. I wasn't taking chances. I needed kills, not just hooks. I didn't camp, but I tunneled her out instead. Understandably, still got flamed in endchat.
As a killer main who's basically played since release who used to main nurse when she came out, and then played her tons on off. The temptation of returning to my original main, the Nurse, after so many tbags, so many bullysquads that have forced my hand to inhale the toxicity and become molded by it once more. And yet I play meme ghostface, oreo, trapper, all the killers you can essentially bully. But I fear that soon I will go back to the clutches of my legacy nurse. We'll show them. We'll show them all.

Lol this is rediculously relatable. I am on the edge of going this route as killer. When I watch Lilith Omen, SupaAlf or Array gamer play blight/nurse, they always are laughing or just chilling with their viewers. When I watch CMwinter play pig or even Lynxi play twins, you can just feel the stress through the screen in some of those games.
i HIGHLY recomend you to watch king wolfe 2. He will change your whole experience if you give time to learn how he plays the game, it doesnt matter which killer he plays his strats and pathing is always going to give him the upper hand.
@@Rambone1978 and he completely owns Loops aswell, you forgot that little thing. And yeah, camping and tunnelling is often necessary, trick is to know when to do it and when not to. Think its a bad gamestyle? Blame the devs, not the players.

@@Rambone1978 the amount of map awareness he has only comes with years of practice and knowing all the tile spawns etc, wdym its not too hard? he knows where they are and how they move almost all the time, thats not just something you do in a blink.
Don´t forget the Hillbilly that was regarded as one of the most perfectly balanced and fun killers in the game. Then it got nerfed into the ground for reasons tm.

@@jaro9930 No, it’s literally just not the same once you start raising MMR. It gets to a point you’re lucky if you get 1-2 kills with an M1 killer. Even bringing the strongest most annoying builds only delays inevitable defeat most of the time. Hell in an average section of MMR it sucks. Map offerings, brand new part, blastmine, fast track, hyperfocus, dead hard, lithe, sprint burst, adrenaline, DS. The list goes on. As Legion what are you going to do when they spread out on The Game and you don’t have an opportunity to chain hits at all? Hope to god you can secure and three gen early and camp the shit out of someone. If you manage to down them. Even then you’ll normally end up losing. Maybe you secure a kill or two. And you always run the same build. Eruption, COB, overcharge, and deadlock or pop. Addons can differ, but other than that, no variety. If you do something different the survivors gen rush the shit out of you. They take advantage of your weaknesses and then tbag at the exit gate.

The thing about Nurse is that she is the power role in DBD. With other killers, even strong ones like blight and spirit, survivors are the power role: the survivors dictate the flow of the match and if they play flawlessly they will win, even if you also play flawlessly. But with the Nurse if you play flawlessly you win, always.
ehhhhh blight is not gonna lose to anything if you play "flawlessly". And a very well played spirit is gonna win most games too. Nurse is stronger but you should never sleep on spirit and blight.

As a nurse main with 3758 hours logged in on stream and xbox I can confirm this is mostly accurate. Although I never use Starstruck or range add-ons cause it feels too easy to get kills, I like letting players feel a glimpse of hope before I rip it from them, part of the fun is that rush when you doubt yourself when they are at 2 gens and 3 survivors are dead on hook, that feelings of dread knowing if your next chase does not end in less then 10 seconds you will not get even a 2k. It just has always been fun. But yeah this video is top tier.

Yesterday I've gone against a good group after trouncing mountains of survivors. There was nothing I could do as they used their brain instead of crying and giving up. It was not even about the chases, it was about the perfectly safe tactic they've used. -- A Nurse main with 26K registered blink attacks.

Playing as Nurse is so... Cathartic I'd say... Survivors know there's pretty much no chance to escape and they give up, die trying, or they pull a rabbit out of their hats and escape somehow. I feel this is how this game should always feel.
5 whole months late but can confirm for you. To be on the receiving end of a nurse is just pain and suffering but to be the nurse, it's so fun and satisfying.
There is no more "playing for fun" when youve reached competitive MMR. If you dont try your hardest with the best killers and perks your not going to get kills. Playing meme builds and fun perks are at the disposal of kills, which only feeds the egos of the large community of survivors who have no empathy to killers and take all their joy at the cost of a killers sanity. High mmr is a cold war of survivors and killers pushing eachother to the limits to achieve their duties, and innocents trying to have peaceful fun inbetween are shot on sight.
