Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C. H. Spurgeon.

The LORD bless pastor Charles Spurgeon!!! Quite amazing sermon, 'confession of sin.' Laborers are few, but the field is plenty; FATHER LORD, we need morre true soldiers in the field, Matthew 9:37-38. Do people actually repent after confession? Confession of sin is necessary to salvation, but how do we know if one is really honest? Jeremiah 17:9, "the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it?" How did GOD handle these biblical characters? His references, Balaam-Numbers 22, Saul king of Israel- 1 Samuel 15, Pharaoh of Egypt-Genesis 12, Job 33, David king of Israel-2 Samuel 12, Prodigal Son- Luke 15. What is salvation??? Some fear GOD but serve satan, and some love GOD but still serve satan. What good is salvation then, without repentance? There is power in the WORD of GOD; therefore, we should follow the LORD'S instructions and allow the HOLY SPIRIT to take control as we preach it!!! Failure to do this, will create excessive spiritual laxity and chasing after the wind, which we are unfortunately facing today. May the LORD hear the lament of saints around the world, in the MIGHTY name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, amen and amen!!!
