I played Efren in 2017 at a local bar in Huntsville Alabama - - - it was a best 3 out of 5 9 ball match and of course he kicked my butt. What a wonderful memory!
@@Crazywaffle5150 If you are ever in the Huntsville Alabama area just stop by at Steve's Cue and Grill - - - - as you walk-in you will see a picture of Efren and I on the left just outside the entrance of my cue shop - - - I'm there every week, if I'm not in my cue shop just walk up to the bar and look to your right - - - I am normally setting at the first table having coffee or unsweetened tea - - - if you shoot pool, since I own all the Diamond pool tables in the bar, the table time will be on me!
Efren has always been the best and most talented player ever, I never get tired of watching him play , thanks for posting his games, all the best from Australia
There are many excellent players in the world of pool. What sets Efrem apart? His ability to perform seemingly impossible shots coupled with a zen-like relaxed style of play. Finally, his obvious passion for the game. These traits make him a formidable opponent and arguably the compleat pool professional.
I was good friends with Ginky, for those that don't know he passed away in 2011. He was huge inspiration for me when I was young and when I started playing tournaments with him and competing at a high level he was very encouraging, he gave me the confidence more than once to cut through the field to get to the finals in a number of Joss tour events. One of the few super talented American players who exhibited great sportsmanship. He is missed.
@@stevenszikora2375fuck you bitch don’t laugh at him he passed away would u like it if I laughed when u passed away u need to read more of the Bible never laugh at a dead person
GOAT!!!! Efren Reyes has inspired every player of the game with his incredible skills on a billiard table!!! His brilliance of the game will live on forever!!!! Thank you Mr. Reyes for what you have given to all of us who love this wonderful game!!! Your Mastery of the game and always being humble says a lot about your character kind Sir!!!!
goat can see those right angle and hits them with amazing accuracy. i like his professionalism and focus on the task at hand and not letting his ego drive the bus
GOAT!!! Without a doubt. I also love watching the old school players. I wish we could have seen a match between Efren and Mosconi with both being at their prime. I think that would have been the greatest match of all time.
Efron the GOAT! Would love to have met him when I was in Olongapo/Subic Bay many years ago, when I was in the Marines! I'm from southwest Missouri, in the central United States...Thanks for the entertainment!
Ginky was homophobic and an asshole to me. I hated the guy. Still, his death is tragic. I don't wish harm on anyone. People don't get it. We're on this earth for a second in time. Then we're not. RIP.
@@davidhunternyc1 Thats your opinion, not liking homosexuals doesn't make one "HOMOPHOBIC" LOL. Was Jesus homophobic? Are you Jesus phobic? see how stupid that is?
Goat. Got to meet him out in Las Vegas back in 2001. He was there for a tournament at the Riviera. I met him, Jose Parica, and a few more of their buddies at Las Vegas Billiards. There was a $50K two brothers and a stranger hustle going on. It was flawless, and brilliant. I watched the whole thing unfold. The absolute best pool playing I’ve ever seen. It went on for about 4-5 hours. To get to watch the quality of pool being played like that for free is unheard of, and I am still hugely humbled and grateful for the opportunity.
Yeah! He's the GOAT! No doubt. As Ga Youn Kim said when she've played against him "he's the best, he thinks different of the whole other pool players in the world" In my opinion, he's most courageous than the others too. I never get tired watching him playing. Watching from Brazil here.
