Wow. Dennis "so you're admitting you don't do research?!?!" Dennis 30 minutes later "I didn't watch the whole clip so I didn't know what you were crying about" So disingenuous. He is actually the worst.

It's actually crazy how the "mods" are interrupting so much while having absolutely nothing of value to contribute. They really challenged Papa Gut for calling Dennis a bad person after Dennis publicly insinuated that Papa was a pedophile.

He keeps repeating “take a break relax” and “there’s a lot to unpack there” and “you won’t let me talk” because he’s panicking. he can’t think of how to respond because you’re dunking on him. You keep pushing him and he’s freaking out. I love seeing people with narcissistic tendencies finally lose control of a conversation and sweat with anxiety.

Def Noodles is dishonest and unintelligent, and I'm happy everyone sees through him.

The fact that Def Noodles wanted a mediator when this was a personal discussion about him invalidating SA shows how much of a fool and coward he is, and I’m so glad Papa didn’t let Def steamroll him like the last time.

The most infuriating part of this was Def begging Papa to ‘let him finish a thought’ then coming out with the most incoherent, irrelevant points ever.

The second Dennis said "You're piggybacking someone else's trauma for sympathy", I was absolutely done. I'm so proud of Papa for being able to sit there and have to hear it, yet continue with the conversation rather calmly after being accused of such a disgusting thing. Papa, thank you for being a role model nobody knew they wanted, but desperately needed. Stay strong 🙏🏻

Whoever the girl was "moderating" someone needs to explain to her that an "apology" from Dennis is followed by "I went into a livestream to call him an incel & laugh in his face" Dennis is Evil point blank period.

My take away: This was a master class in confronting a narcissist. Don't go into it expecting to get anything out of THEM. Go into the argument with a goal that can be accomplished without requiring the narcissist to acknowledge or recognize the accomplishment. It takes away their ability to feel powerful by depriving you of any approval they think you might be looking for, and it exposes how powerless they really are. Go in with a goal you can fulfill single handedly without "needing" their contribution; Allow them the opportunity to represent themselves as a person, but be firm on what you are there to accomplish for YOURSELF as a separate person who has a life detached and outside of any relationship with the narcissist. That way, you retain the power to leave any time having taken what you came to get out of the situation, and they are left trying to trap you with points that you will never actually be emotionally invested in because you are not looking for any outcome that relies on approval or recognition from the narcissist. Anything they say will stand alone to represent themselves, because they can't control the script how they usually do by derailing you with disingenuous jabs to make you emotionally invested in their reactions and responses and therefore they can't gaslight the conversation after or do damage control. Don't go in trying to 'win', go in with an intention that will be fulfilling and productive for your life without attaching you to any external expectation for mutual closure. Its every dog for themselves in the ring with a narcissistic. They watch and see what you really care about and will try to use it to trap you into a state of mind where you are responding to them so much that you can't control the direction of the interaction. Even caring about each other will show a weakness they can tap into and turn people against each other and away from themselves. Deflection. Confession through projection. Simply brilliant. I'm an ex Def fan btw, from back before the creepshow art drama hit and the tea community imploded on itself.

My abusive ex talks almost exactly like def. "you're talking in circles." "You can't have an actual conversation." pivoting away from things I wanted to hold him accountable for, and would victimize himself because of how upset I'd be after he was abusive to me. It is triggering at times watching the way Def talks to you because I know a very bad person who talks and acts very similarly towards me when I allowed him in my life. It's fucked.

If you have been in any type of abusive relationship where you never felt like you could communicate your feelings or problems, you know this all too well. It was difficult to listen to without remembering these exact types of conversations I have had with previous partners. There isn't changing a person that cannot acknowledge that they're the problem. Therapy is only useful if one is willing to hold themselves accountable.

I hate when people say you can't be effected by someone else's trauma or stories, like you do realize therapists need therapists too sometimes. I'm sure people who deal with crimes in any capacity be it lawyers, police officers, social workers or even parents get traumatized by what they see or hear. It's such a dumb argument.
