Side note it is kinda sad that Danis never gave mma a fair chance. At one point he was this 25 year old prospect with some of the highest level of jiu jitsu in the sport, if he gave mma his full attention and got his striking together, he might’ve had a really interesting career. Instead he fought twice, never made a comeback, and now he’s 30 and more of an influencer than a fighter. Really wish we could’ve seen what could’ve been with his mma career.
