I attended 1cof these courses somewhere else. Paid £450 for a worthless course you can get from reading and asking questions. The best course you can get is to start doing it. Observe ask questions watch videos attend property networks get some experience raise some money partner if you don't have enough money. Courses will never make you rich.

If you're buying a property just go to a broker and get some proper advice. I bought one in London at 25 and just needed a solid broker and the funds ofcourse. These courses are a waste of money and will only keep milking you with the hope of buying a property but not executing.
Always thought if a product is good enough it sell's itself. After going to one of his 'financially free in 4 hours' crash course it was so driven to selling this course without actually explaining what was in the course. He preys on the vulnerable, and reaps the benefits..
This is a massive problem here in America too. Selling'' training courses and seminars on how to make loads of money doing blah blah blah". These gurus are all just about to close on some really big and lucrative money making something or other. Just that at this minute they have nothing tangibly concrete certain to show you so you can actually verify it for your self.if they had a real program or magic formula,they would be making money on that formula, and certainly not sharing it with any competitors.

It is much easier to expand with course selling than buying cheap properties up North and making £200/£300 pcm profit and waiting 20 years for capital appreciation? Work it out yourselves? If it was so easy, these course sellers would not be sharing it with the world?
Well if you rent the property out as a std BTL then yes you make 200/300 a month, but if your rent is per room then you make allot more. If you do Airbnb you have the potential to make more, if you buy/refurbish/refinance then you can potentially repeat your process as you accumulate more and more properties and then those 200/300 per months start adding up if your strategy is std BTL. He says his business is now in development so he can make allot off buying land etc. Training is a good additional income & maybe he does make decent money off this, but people get knowledge in return for the money they pay - there's nothing wrong with this but people need to take responsibility for their own decisions. if I buy a lottery ticket & don't win I can't moan about Camelot being scammers, my point is not everyone will win in this industry if they don't have the aptitude or don't apply themselves but these types of courses are a good leg up & can potentially be better than a Uni course which costs far more. For allot of people professional courses & qualifications are far more valuable than academic quals, both cost money and I see little distinction in doing a property course.

interesting....looking at other comments....all the gurus sell courses in exactly the same way...pressure selling....go to one of the free courses and they will upsell like mad, all of them...thats how they make money....simon zutshi, i think it was 2021, sold his mastermind course, costing 20-25k for the year i think, to the tune of about £1m....and you have a go at Leeds.....if you look in to this business its all about 'multiple streams of income'....they all encourage people to get in to property but at the same time write a book, get in to mentoring, do some training.....charge for each....this guy seems to get the criticism but hes no different to others.....
I knew nothing about this bloke but came across some of his 'property advice' videos. Now I've been in sales for 30 years, longer than this bloke has lived...and I can smell sales BS a mile off. Something gave me the creeps about him too. The way he talks and behaves is straight out of the big book of hard sales bullshit. Only after a few months did I come across the BBC documentary which confirmed my suspicions about him. stay clear

He’s an immense sales man, I went to a seminar and that’s all I got from him. Knows what he’s talking about, however his people skills and sales skills are 10/10. Don’t fully trust the guy, he said things like ‘I don’t want to be rich!! I’m not doing this for my own benefit, I’m doing it so you guys can be rich’ which I find hard to believe when it was a load of rodents that pushed each other out the way every time he held a £20 note up to the crowd lol (literally). He's doing it for his benefit - several videos about him boasting about his house car etc. See the BBC Inside Out documentary to see how his salesperson encourages someone with no money or income to try and raise their limit and put £12k on a credit card.

If you follow his youtube comments, the pattern is, approx 20 comments to begin with, then the spam comments start, firstly using Samuel Leeds name, then a few days later those comments change to another RU-vidrs name, and more spam comments appear. This is then followed by ‘crypto cluster’ comments, maybe more repetitive spam comments. Suddenly the initial 20 comments is now over 100 mostly fake comments
There is something odd about this guy. Something doesn't sit right. From experience (I own several properties) You need a good broker, financial adv and common sense/ and/or a good partner who can work with you. It really isn't that difficult. He can't give a number when asked how many properties he owns because its a sh*m!
I’ve been into technology, computers and IT my whole life. Built my first computer at 13 years old I learned maybe 2 things at uni, in fact I failed 1 exam as I answered with relevant (current) answers. The answer book was based on the previous google Seo practices. I appealed it and told them my reasons. They remarked it with relevant information and got the highest mark of the whole year at 99%. I learned how to get a first class degree without putting effort in. I joke that I learned how to cheat the system. The school system is corrupt and failing people. Everyone I know who finished the education system who worked up the career ladder after 10 years are earning 50k. All my friends who didn’t finish were making that 3-5 years of business. I personally don’t think I would be happy going into a corporate job. I never used my degree mainly because starting salaries were less than what I was earning without a degree. It did nothing for me except for get me into a debt with my student loans.

Having just dipped my toes into this rabbit hole of an industry I must say this was a phenomenal interview given by Lin Mei. I'll certainly be looking out for more of her work. She seemed to know exactly what question I wanted answering at every point of the conversation, almost as if I was having the talk with Samuel myself. Really impressive stuff, thanks Lin.

I watched 3 minutes and it was laughably bad. The interviewer (clearly working for Samuel or paid for by Samuel to make this video) claims Samuel owns a castle worth £6 million. I think this is completely misleading. He and his business partners paid £1 million few years ago if I remember correcty. There has been no progress recently (probably becuase it's going to take a lot more money than they had anticipated) so I doubt it would worth much more than a million.

Knowledge is power but sadly not everyone can execute! You don’t need to pay for a course to learn how to do this but a course can accelerate your learning but if you’re prepared to make the calls, meet people in the industry and learn as you go you can also figure it out.

The young lady is a good interviewer. Regarding Samuel, why would you waste your precious time selling courses if you were such a good property developer? You wouldn't need to sell courses. It's easier for him to make the money from these courses, from what I feel are some vulnerable people, by charging them a lot of money. And then use this money to buy his own properties. I wouldn't call Samual a property developer, more a marketing salesman who happens to buy property. Just like house builders nowadays are investment companies that just happen to build houses.

He was part of 1 hour group session with around 9 others where they can ask questions. That's not a private one to one mentoring session. His real profession is a stage magician and illusionist

@Carrie Jones I guess if you go to the training you find these things out one way or another. I'm not sure I understand the dislike bordering on hate that seems to be directed at this guy, he's done well for himself, he does some free training & some paid for those people that are interested. If you don't think it's value for money or this guy isn't genuine then don't sign up for it. If on the other hand you'd been to his training and can give fair feedback then do it but the criticism seems to come from those that just watch the free videos.
@Carrie Jones Hi Carrie, I'm very sorry about your brother I think it's a tragedy when you lose someone in those circumstances, I'm also an Army Reserve so I have an affinity with his background. When you posted this I felt it only right to do some due diligence and I watched the BBC documentary and I also then went on to watch the follow up video that Samuel did so that I could get a better understanding of all of the views. The BBC video I thought did portray Samuel & his company in a poor light and it did look like pressure selling to me, I certainly don't agree with the shouty 2nd hand car salesman approach & it would turn me off. However I have to question the BBCs editing to some degree - the journalist filled the form out to say she was interested and I felt she didn't make it clear enough that the meeting was the following day so she had slept on it overnight & come back to have a meeting she had booked. I would have liked to see that whole meeting which I appreciate they cut down for broadcast purposes but they should really have made it available so you have the full context of what was said. The girl doing the sales was too pushy imo & should clearly state the dangers of getting in to debt, but this isn't a regulated industry so they're not obliged to do that which probably needs to be changed. Apparently the application form that the journalist filled out did ask that question & she said that she could afford it but that wasn't made available. The biggest mistake by the BBC was that they didn't interview Samuel directly, didn't ask for a response from him, so didn't give him a fair right to reply to the allegations made. That's journalism 101 so to fail to do that is pretty terrible. If he'd declined to be interviewed then fair enough but they should have made the approach & perhaps could have facilitated a meeting between yourself and him, so you could have put this all to him directly. I get that you say he's avoiding you now and can only imagine the anger & frustration that this must give you, but I'm guessing he's been told by solicitors and PR people not to do this as anything he says could potentially be used against him as evidence in a court of law or public opinion. This is why the BBC really dropped the ball & the opportunity was missed at the time. I wish you the very best for the future, I know you'll never get over the loss of a loved one but I hope you can live your best life which I'm sure your brother would have wanted. Take care.x
@Carrie Jones The problem with this type of sector is that it's like a lottery ticket that guarantees a win and builds the person's expectation when life isn't that simple. I'm sure you can make money with the types of schemes that are advocated & obviously allot of people do exactly that but not everyone will succeed. I can't comment too much on the quality of the training as I haven't had it, but ideally this should have some sort of accreditation. For a training company like that they should perhaps focus on their piecemeal training where you learn about 1 strategy at a time & you can pick & choose which one is relevant rather than the £10k plus VAT as the default choice. They also need to stop over promising and the pressured selling. In terms of the refund they should have given this as a good will gesture regardless of liability, really surprised for their own image & common decency that they didn't do this for your brother's wife and to help clear any debt that she was still carrying. Put everything I had into his courses and seminars (the seminars are only £1) and 2 years later I put that knowledge into action and I’m living in my own 2 bed apartment, new Car I bought 6 months ago and able to give my mom 10 grand for her birthday this year… point is I was in the worst and shittiest environment I could’ve been in, I could barely pay my phone bill, service rent each week, food shopping or toiletries… I could’ve gave up and got a job and don’t stuff the slave way and still be struggling now, but I didn’t. don’t blame this guy or people for trying to share knowledge to put people in a better place financially,environmentally and mentally, blame the kids in this example the 17 year old who couldn’t put the knowledge and lessons he bought into action
