Here's an idea to make it a bit interesting. When things get to the intense part, instead of Mario just running faster, why not have MX try to hit Mario with a red shell and Mario jumping on it, making him go faster? Something from Mario 64 and what not. I don't know, just thought it would be different from the Sonic one.
A bit off topic but I feel like it would be better if mx and Mario we’re running the opposite direction just like in Mario 85 (there was a mod that used this idea by the way just wanted to point it out)
I love that you stuck with the same voice that I had in the original Mario madness mod. When some other people try to remake it, it never sounds as good. Awesome job. Also BTW Mario didn't get away from me.
this is amazing, but with that background i think something is missing... either them running or them being on those spin top things from Sonic 3 in Marble Garden (dont remember the name of said zone)
mx could be riding on a muncher tower on a bullet bill cannon on a cloud while mario rides on yoshi on bricks that are breaking behind him due to bob omb explosions. or they could be in clown cars
agreed. they should've been in a bowser castle themed level background while they're standing on flying skeleton carts because Mario doesn't need physics
10/10 cover! you actually made MX's voice sound god which most ppl cant do that good lol, seeing this is making me hope for a cover between luigi from the same mod as normal mario and IHY luigi lol

this actually can fit really well, since in Mario 85' MX chases Luigi/Lucas So yeah, someone just need to make running sprites for Mario and MX and a Mario 85' background, a WAHOOO sprite for MX and were done

Now this? This is amazing. It’s just like Luigi confronting Mario in the Mario.exe PC Port, where Mario transforms into MX, and MX throws Toad into the flagpole and decapitated him and MX starts chasing Luigi. This is just amazing. Mario confronting his exe form.
This is a pretty awesome cover man. Nice use of the laugh. I am a little disappointed that Mario didn't have more of a worried face, like sonic did. A couple other things that could've been changed: 1. At 0:48, it was still the same jump scare as Sonic.EXE's. Possibly could've replaced it, but it was a small detail. 2. You could've used the spinning top things from Sonic 3 to make the background feel less strange. Either that or another solution could be to freeze it. These are just small changes that could be added in a possible rework. But the cover still sounded very nice. Good work!
