I don’t remember the normal Romeo X offering a 6 MOA version as that’s the only reason I haven’t bought one yet was until they came out with one (any many others wanting that as well) But now a 6 MOA option has been made, but only in the Romeo X Enclosed optic. Which is fine since I’ll probably pick that one up anyway.
Yah definitely going with the holosun it’s a no brain in my opinion. I was giving you guys a shout out in my echelon video hopefully it send some traffic your way. Thanks for all yall do!
I purchased the screw set from Freedom Gorilla for mounting the EPS on the 365. I assume I will still need the adapter plate along with the screw set? I honestly just picked up the screw set just in case I went EPS. About ready to make that purchase. Romeo X compact enclosed or EPS carry. Probably make the decision this week.
I chose the X-pro. Direct mounts to my m18 so no extra cost/complexity of an adapter plate. Has built in rear irons which is needed. Came in a bronze color to match the pistol. Circle/dot is nice too and it’s not made in China. Enclosed is the new fad but there are too many issues with them fogging inside. Can’t just clean them out and keep shooting like an open.
@@christianwilson5956not for p365, for other full size sigs, then yes. But Rmsc footprint is mainly for the micro guns. Not many people will be throwing the EPS on a full size gun.
I want to buy the X Pro enclosed, but I’m probably going to get the EPS instead because I can get it for $200 less. Maybe I’ll get around to getting the Sig optic some day.
@@Snapper314 I ended up buying the 6MOA dot version, so I don't have the MRS but I like it. It blooms terribly, like every other optic does, but I'll put in the reps on training.
Holosun is great but i hate the idea of a chinese optic first of all. Second I literally just switched from the 407k to the romeo x today because of the co witness. Sure the holosun has it but on the romeo x its literally like having suppressor height sights without all that window space being taken up
@@alpharomeosierra7748 the way the Trijicon mounts is wonky and I'm a Trijicon fanboy. I do wish the Romeo had the self adjusting brightness option. My 507K the brightness required by day is a bit much at night but I don't wanna have to futz with it. The Trijicon purports to handle this for you.
Does the circle dot verision of romeo x pro enclosed have selectable reticles like in the open emitter? As in being able to cycle through the dot, circle dot, and just the circle.
You know what, I thought it would. I saw several people saying that the enclosed version of the Romeo x, with the circle dot reticle, didn't have that ability to cycle through the 3 various configurations of the circle dot. If it truly does indeed have that ability, I have found my new optic. I'm done with holosun
If Holosun had a RMSc footprint I'd buy it. Holosun is losing a lot of business not having the RMSc footprint for the Hellcats, 365s, and other small EDC'S. Nobody wants to use a plate if you can get an optic that directly attaches to your slide.
@freedomgorilla1 haha I saw someone said their new fuse came with the closed emitter but was just listed as the x compact so it's got me a little excited I could live with any of the dot options at least
These are USA assembled, I think there's some foreign components in it for sure. In the past Sig was working with Holosun to make their optics if my memory serves me.
I've heard nothing but bad stuff about the Holosun EPS Carry. It doesn't have a battery, I think it has a super capacitor or there's a battery in there that's rechargeable and the solar cell needs to some exposure to top the thing up? There's been stories of them bricked out of the box or barely operable after a short period of time. I run a 507K but ordered the Compact 6 MOA dot, I'm certainly interested in no chance of dot occlusion.
Eps carry is good to go it has a battery. You’re thinking of the scs which doesn’t have a battery. EPS carry is basically a closed emitter 507k for the price I’d probably take it over the sig since they’ve had issues in the past and don’t think Romeo x has been out long enough to know potential issues yet.
@@teneightymn1234 I think I dipped on the EPS Carry because IIRC it needs an adapter plate under it for the P356 which seems annoying to me. My 507K bolts directly to the slide, I’d prefer no bullshit between the slide and optic if I can avoid it. I also got the sense it overhangs the slide width wise? I can get the EPS carry MOS in Green for $330 thru a corporate discount tho. We’ll see how the Sig looks, if they’re sloppy with the glue it’s gonna drive me nuts. Some of these companies do such a shitty looking job of securing the windows.
@@f1nalboss yeah looked into it apparently you just need shorter screws? The Romeo-X Compact Enclosed showed up…quality looks good, it’s on par with Holosun. That said I feel like it’s very expensive for what it is. I guess the US made aspect explains some of that but it stings a little that you get more features on the Holosun for less money and I have access to a discount that makes the Holosun laughably cheap. Ohh well, now I gotta find a home for my 507k better buy another gun 👀 I’ll mount it up today…I do suspect it’ll fit a wee nicer, looks like they undercut the bottom back towards the slide.
