The rapture cannot be imminent since Paul made it clear that before our gathering together unto him (the rapture) there apostasy must occur and the man of lawlessness be revealed. So how can it be imminent?

Pre-Trib. Rapture folks will say that the "apostasy" means: departure....from the earth. Of course, this is false! "Apostasy" means: departure from a position one once previously confessed to be true. Departure from the truth; departure from the faith. It's an intellectual "departure". Dispensational Futurism is indeed a major false Eschatological view of these End Times. Your question is spot-on, and you are right to reject this Pre-Trib. nonsense. *Soli Deo Gloria*

The confusion here is with this pastors message. The coming of the Lord and the rapture are the same event which happen in Revelation 16:14-16

Holding him back 2000years ago!

If there's a pre tribulation rapture then who's going to be here to witness for the Lord Jesus Christ during the tribulation. Jesus Christ told us when he's coming back in the book of Matthew chapter 24 verses 29 through 31

@@jeremiahg2716 the greater question should be: show me one scripture that EXPLICITLY says Jesus is coming before the tribulation. I can show multiple scriptures that EXPLICITLY say he will come after the tribulation !!

The "rapture" is indeed a biblical teaching; but nowhere does 1 Thes. 4:13-18 say that the rapture and the 2nd Advent are two, temporally separate events, or that it is a different event than the resurrection of the saints at Christ's return. The "coming of the Lord," resurrection of the dead in Christ, and rapture are clearly all the same event.

True Israel gave birth to the Church following the Ark of the Covenant, likewise the true Church follow Israel & the Ark God did not intend his holy Ark of the Covenant to be contained in a temple cut by hand, unto his words "Heaven is my throne & earth my footstool " but for the sake of David allowed Solomon to build it, not surprisingly it never found rest in it, meant to dwell in the hearts of men, so became removed & the temple destroyed The only reason for rebuilding the 2nd temple was for the Messiah to enter it, finding it Corrupted used the whip to overturn the TABLES, the tables of the leavens of the Pharisees (Jews) & Herod (Gentiles) , the leavens of the LAW/FAITH resp, after which it was filled before which it was filled with Zeus Now, intending to rebuild the 3rd temple only to fill it with man made hinduism (Egypt) & its 33 million gods, veiled in Theosophy mingled with Freemasonry, the White house its political seat, reveals Zechariah 5, incidentally the two lamb like horns off the 2nd Beast of revelations, & that which restrains the rebuilding are the Muslims, rather Islam, till the restrainer be taken out of the way, & to fill the said Abominations, lead to the serpents Lie at Eden "Ye be as gods " (without God) Man as God, to the Abomination of Desolation as spoken by Prophet Daniel, ushering in the Day of the Lord (Joel) All these events are condensed in the prophecy of 2 Thessoionians 2,

The restrainer is the Holy Spirit. He explained everything clearly in 2 Thessalonians about Paul reassurance that the Rapture didn’t happen.

@@hc5327 The restrainer is not the Holy Spirit. Read the text in the greek and do a word study. Jesus said He would send a Comforter that would be with you until the end of the age. Please my lengthy comment above.
