Playing this today for my dog Jungle who died yesterday! Heartbroken and lost. He was my jungalist Bebe!! 33kg of pure Love and happiness! My jungalist! 💔❤️
awww losing man's best friend really sucks. Sorry to hear that. He's in (doggie) heaven now and he'll be there waiting for you when you get there, you'll see! ❤️
I hope your life is good now bro… I’ve got English bull terriers… owned these two 11 years now.. lost my first one in 2011 he was 11… better to have loved and lost I say…
Iconic classic!! This track mashed up all the dances back in the day Kool Skool 1996 @The Powerhouse, Midsummer Nights Fever @Club UN, One Nation @Island Music Arena...the list goes on. Big up Nicky Blackmarket and RIP Stevie Hyper D. Out to Peter Bouncer and Rebel MC legends.
What I wouldn't give to have had the opportunity to experience just ONE of their nights. The music these men created did so much for me personally. Nothing but respect for each and every one of them.
I do feel sorry for those that missed them times and nights. Theyll never be repeated times have changed for the worse. Gutted for u pal. Even festivals are shite now to what they were. So glad I was there to live through it. Miss those friendly days. Not the same atmosphere now and it will never be like it was. Such a shame.
When I'm weak, you're tellin' me that I'm strong. When I'm right, you're tellin' me that I'm wrong But I know, now I understand, now I see, I see your wicked plan. I'm a Junglist!
Foook'a geeyeeahhh! Still rockin 'n' droppin legs on a regular to this track for goin-on some thing like 15 or 16 years now. Timeless!!! #GetDownTilYaSitDown

RIP one of my best friends Ryan aka DJ General who is the cousin of Rebel MC. He sadly passed from Covid on the 24th September 2021. He was passionate about music especially Jungle/Drum N Bass. He will truly be missed by me & many others. Let’s take time to celebrate his life & all the good things he was about as a DJ & person. 🙏🏾🕊💔😭
I'm a little bit late to the Jungle party but that bass line at 0:57 mark, I remember hearing it all the way from Jungle stage while at main stage at Northern Bass. Quality 👌
@@leonardodaforno4034 The version you have is the original back when he went by Rebel MC, this version was on his Code Red Album under the alias Congo Natty
I remember this live PA at Telepathy around 95/6 place corked, RÏP stevie D, get pon the floor, come do the hooligan, drumandbass junglist nice up sessión ...
@@noredline true unless you got deep pockets and are happy to duel with discogs bandits! Got this in black market, got about 150 jungle records all of a similar calibre, strictly 92-95. Wasn't feeling DnB or horse n carriage! Glad I invested in vinyl as a youngster! 😎👍
It lost its rawness when digital was introduced. It sounds very synthetic and has for a while. It's still music but gone are the blow up the dance floor tracks of the past.
One key element that is missing these days is the human feel to the drums / bass, nowadays drum and bass is totally made quantized and has in the process lost the human feel/soul, its all so robotic because it is stuck to the grid, J Dilla (RIP) was the producer that really brought the human feel to hip hop with his un-quantized loose, swinging, wonky drums that changed the game.
@@yosotattoo u can not deny the fact that MTV spread the word. Was a reason why huge players were guests on MTV with Simone. Sub base, Hype, SOUR records and so on.

@@MemoryLaneCinema Yeah when major record labels signed Jungle artists they elevated them to televised platforms and that certainly helped with the expansion of the sound and scene nationwide and worldwide. The majors were even buying record labels off of producers too and setting up sister labels and so on.
