Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday decided to give up the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat and chose to stay in his family bastion of Raebareli, which he won in the recently-concluded Lok Sabha elections.
Notably, Rahul Gandhi secured victories in both the Lok Sabha seats he contested -- Wayanad in Kerala and Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh -- with impressive margins in the general elections.

In Wayanad any Congress candidate can win. Candidate/ local issues/ progress nothing matters. That's why Rahul Gandhi came to Wayanad after losing in Amethi. Same reason why Rahul Gandhi is keeping his Rae Bareili seat and leaving the Wayanad seat now, bcoz Congress knows that Priyanka can win whatever happens. 45% Muslims will ensure that Congress candidate will win. But if he quits Rae Baraeli seat, and keeps Wayanad there is no certainty to Win again from RB.

We don't have to judge him just based on his language skills. By your logic, no body from rural, non-hindi background can ever become part of a national party because they will lack both english and hindi speaking skills.
