Congressional Hits and Misses, Impeachment Edition 

It was a fraudulent impeachment used as a political smear. Any president can easily be impeached if the opposing party has control of the house.

Cody though the fact that it doesnt happen often shows how rare it is. he was impeached for a valid reason, though his cronies in the senate let him get off, though the New York prosecutors won’t let him off so easy.

@@evilspatula6450 The “crimes” they charged him with were incredibly vague and meant nothing. The impeachment was nothing but a failed political smear. Why do you think democrats immediately brushed it under the rug and never talked about is again? Because it was a massive waste of time and resources and set a dangerous standard for future impeachments. Only democrats got to call witnesses and it was the only impeachment out of the 3 that was set up in a way for only democrats to control the procedures. If republicans had stooped to this ridiculously low level we could have impeached Obama for no reason too. I’m not advocating for that, but it was entirely possible. All the impeachment did was show how scummy house democrats are.
