I saw a video where an agent was seen behind the podium crouching down before the shots. He seems to know that they are coming. He doesn't alert anyone. He just crouched down and took cover.

It's easy to Monday morning quarterback. The secret service already told Congress that they needed more resources and Congress refused - repeatedly. One person can't be in three different places at the same time watching for snipers. The secret service knows how much manpower they needed and they were not given what they asked for. Don't blame them for what happened. Blame Congress - some of whom probably WANTED this to happen and were hoping for a fatal outcome.

It is well known that the secret services made several requests to Congress to increase funds to protect Trump and that Congress turned a deaf ear to these requests. This is the result.

That's because there was only 1 member of his usual detail, the very tall dark haired man. The rest were fill ins because his usual team was given time off after working more than a month without a day off. I think that was a large part of the failure, there was no cohesion like a team that is used to working together and has their reactions down for any scenario. JMO

It's not just resources, it also seems to be about training. Why didn't the Secret Service delay or pull Trump when the threat was identified? It sonds like they had a LOT of time to do this.
