My brother had one when I was a kid,, it was literally a portable nightclub. Batterys were the issue, ate through them in hours and i think it took 12 D size, or something.
I brought the more modern one that records and skips to next song. C-124F great buy same speakers size just not as tall . It goes up in height to leds.
prices vary depending on condition and functionality of the boombox, I noticed that on auction or buy it know, is around 400 to 500 cause they need restoration, on the other hand if it's been restored it could be more than that, this is just my opinion of course
