Between the summers of 2021 and 2022, I had the chance to borrow this unique and very interesting bass trombone! Made in C.G. Conn's famed Elkhart factory between the 1950's and 1960's, the model 72H runs on relatively standard bass specs (0.562" bore slide, 0.594" bore rotor section, 9.5" bell flare), but in playing experience it finds itself somewhere between the modern tenor and bass trombones. Enjoy!
