Some Bluetooth speakers don't connect to the echo so simply. When I saw ANY in the title, I assumed this video would be helpful for those speakers. Very misleading and unhelpful.
It's all a pacifier for soccer moms and smerffs, I don't like these extra associations that trip you up with things like livingroom that are hard to remove etc.
Amazon is the worst, after all the updates and stuff on the app, I am shocked this video still works. Maybe I will make an updated video to show the changes. Thanks for the comment!
like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, ru-vid.comUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....
Buy a Bluetooth receiver from Amazon, buy an aux splitter, and fitting aux cables. Set up the Bluetooth receiver using the given Manuel. Plug the aux splitter into the Bluetooth receiver, then plug as many aux cables as you need into both your speakers and the aux splitter. Connect your phone to the Bluetooth receiver, and everything should work!

Good info So if I can I add a 5.1 soundbar, can it be BT connected to 2 separate devices .....at the same time and stay connected BT? Thanks good video
Is the music streaming done in the echo and the music signal is transmitted to the sound bar via bluetooth, or is the streaming done on your sound bar itself? It makes the difference, because the latter would deliver better audio quality.
Do you have to have it connect each time you want to use it? Does the Visio sound bar turn off or is the Bluetooth connected all the time? Thinking about setting this up in my garage and font want to have to turn on the sound bar and tell it to connect each time. Hope the questions make sense.
Hi. I have two echo dots 3rd gen paired in stereo mode and when I connect them to bt speakers one of the dots is still on. Is there a way to mute the dot? I want only bt speakers to work. Thanks
Is it possible to play through both the Echo and a non Echo speaker at the same time? I have a Klipsch the 3 speaker in my living room and my Alexa in my Kitchen. I would like them act as a speaker network.

I'm asking myself if I can connect the echo dot to a bluetooth speaker that normally turns off if there's no music played (Teufel Rockster Cross). Ive hear rumors that the echo sends silent signals to prevent this from happening but I'm not sure if that's true...

@@HelpCloud I have a samsung series 8 55in uhd crystal. I watched a video of yours of connecting it to the TV to say turn on/off through smartthings or alexa tv. Is there a different video? Thank you for replying btw I appreciate it

can I connect Bluetooth or wired speakers, and have only music streamed to speakers, and Alexa commands go through build in speaker. reason - i have it paired with Ring and Alexa in living room tels me about open/closed door ect, but when I will turn of my 5.1 Alexa will communicate to bt or wire and i have no notification heard.
I have connected my echo dot 3rd gen via bluetooth to my desktop. When I go to pause a RU-vid video - it will stay paused for around 10 seconds and then automatically unpause itself and play the video. It does the same unpausing itseling for spotify and other media on my desktop pc? I am running windows 10 pro and only had this issue since connecting the echo via bluetooth. If I connect the echo via spotify connect (which runs off wifi) this issue doesn't happen. But I want to use the dot for all audio coming from my desktop via bluetooth. Please help!
One quick question. In Sony X85J, I enabled Alexa using Echo dot. Getting all commands executed (on, off, volume, pause, play etc) EXCEPT change of channels. It takes the command but DO NOT execute it. Any reason? ? ? Is it not enabled in INDIA??~ Have seen few utube video of outside world, there it works.
I have a dindinmodern brand speaker. I use it at picnics when I travel in my RV. Small size but big sound. I really like it and deserves my recommendation.
First off Great video. I just subscribed. I have a gen4 dot that I connect via Bluetooth to my iPad so I can play RU-vid music (I like the music videos playing in the background when I’m working). I want to purchase a better quality sound system for my office and would like it to also be connected to the two via bluetooth. Can I have audio into the dot from the iPad and out to the sound system all via Bluetooth?
I have a Philips BT speaker. I can pair my phone to it, NP. Like in 3 seconds. But then I unpair, forget it; the blue-light starts blinking on the speaker. I log into Alexa, tell her ADD DEVICE, BT Speaker, she never sees/pairs the speaker. WTH? Are there other steps I can take?
After I connect my Bluetooth speaker to my Alexa, it plays for a few minutes and gets disconnected from wifi. This only happens when I connect my bluetooth speaker. There is no interruption when the songs are playing on my Echo dot speaker.
Liked and Subscribed Sir, Thank you for the informative video, it has been a life saver for me ( inbuilt alexa on the bose 700 soundbar suck's / never follows commands ) connected a Echo dot - THANKS TO YOU , to the soundbar and its working like a champ .. God bless you and your family . Best wishes and Regards . Sah
When I keep my Echo dot on a rough surface, it gets dusty and scratchy. For protection and a unique look I applied an ebony wood skin from gadgetshieldz.
Doesn't really work for me. It connects just fine, but now whenever I ask Alexa a questions, it mutes my Bose speakers when responding, for whatever reason, which thus mutes it's own response. So I'll ask "How's the weather?" And Alexa will mute the speakers, to then respond to my question through those speakers, but obviously no sound comes out.
@@HelpCloud Unfortunately that isn't happening either, though :(. Instead of playing on the Alexa, built-in speakers, which I'd be okay with, Alexa just mutes itself completely and says nothings unless I manually adjust the sound
