Hi! Very nice video! Normally it is not necessary to copy the header file for a custom device into the SinricPro library directory. This is also the reason why the header file is included with quotes and not with angle brackets.

Simply just put in both (sketch and header file In same folder) it will automatically open it in Arduino ide , or you can create a new tab in ide name it same as a custom device with .h copy the a text and paste it on new tab of ide and include it on main sketch,

One could also hardware hack (rewire) a 'Smart' power outlet gadget to extract the relay signal (less the AC power) and use that to push buttons. One would need to be very careful about the AC power inside the Smart Plug, and how the internal circuitry is powered. Ideally one would bring out only the isolated dry contacts.

All this Alexa stuff is OK, but anything connected to the internet will stop working with no internet and slow timing is another problem, as the command has to go out and then come back I have a problem with my Blink camera, so I don't do any smart stuff any more.

Apologies, most of the GPIO pins should be fine, I think I used 17 and 18. If it doesn’t work, simply change the pins in the sketch and try different ones. I’d highly recommend building on a breadboard first. That’s goes for pretty much every build.
