I disagree. I think it makes you think more not spam hits. If you chase the puck around and try to be a one man army the game punishes you. Everything else? Trash and EA should be ashamed they released this half assed attempt.

Hitting in NHL 24 is really satisfying, but the stand up animation for whoever got a massive hit is way too fast in my opinion, this is ridiculous. Like 2 seconds after a big hit they are standing and skating again.

What would you say the minimum attribute for body checking is? Last year I had like a 90% hit success rate with gold shutdown and 84 checking…I do the same attributes (mostly) in 24 and can’t even nick the guy a lot of times. I do the new controls and everything, but just whiff so much and I don’t feel like I’m really doing anything different positionally-wise”pre-hit”…idk guess just have to keep at it, but for 14 years the previous controls was like 80% of my game lol. Not looking to cream the guy all the time, but I at least want to get a bump on him lol

I think I can hip check better than anything else. I tabletop 3-5 people a game and I only really play the quick play one period mode lol
