This video is a quick guide on how I connect my Dell Precision laptop running windows 11 to dual external monitors using HDMI without a docking station. My preferred way to do this is with a USB-C to dual HDMI adapter.

will this concept also work connecting two monitors with displayport to one usb-c port on a laptop using a usb-c to displayport splitter?

Does it have to be a USB type C connector to laptop. Meaning...can I use a HDMI from laptop to split to two HDMI screens/monitors, and still have the ability to use 3 separate screens like you do in extended mode.
