Hi, is it possible to connect a ledger device from metamsk to the phone? because from the pc there is the possibility to do it, from the phone no! I can't find any words in the metamask settings "connect hardware wallet!" How can it be done?
When i pair my nano to the MM, on the screen where it prompts u to select the address that u would like to unlock, I don’t c the address to the main eth network that has all my tokens. I m seeing a bunch of addresses that don’t hold any eth and are showing 0 balance. How can I have that window show my wallet address so I can bridge that ?
great vid.......I always get this message when trying to connect nano s with Metamask......"The ledger device was not connected. If you wish to connect your Ledger, please click 'Continue' again and approve HID connection"..........but there is no "continue" option........tried everything ........updated filmware....everything.......just will not connect with metamask........keeps looking for Ledger......never hooks up.........wtf?.......thank you

@@JohnnyTime I followed an instruction from another channel to migrate my Metamask to Ledger. At the time being, I was also staking Wonderland Time using Avalanche C Chain on Metamask Wallet. I sent my recover seed phrase of this MM wallet to my Ledger in hope that it would sync. Then I deleted that Metamask Wallet and reinstalled a new Metamask and connected to my hard wallet. It turned out that the C Chain Avalanche address is no longer there and I can’t get back to the wallet that I deleted even I recovered it using the seed phrase. I still have the the C-Chain address of the lost MM wallet attached to Wonderland Time. Do you know what will happen to my staking? Is there a way to recover the Metamask Wallet that I deleted with that C-Chain address still staking on Time? (I haven’t refreshed Time so it’s still there) . Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can use both hardware and software wallet, funds that are on the hardware wallet, will be only accessible with the hardware wallet. If you don’t have it, you can’t access them.
All the chains are available, also, usually most of the chains are EVM compatible which means that your wallet address en ethereum will be the same wallet address in BSC or Polygon for example :)
Hi, i created a wallet in metamask without the ledger, is there a way to link this old wallet to the ledger? Because i have some registered games that i didn't want to miss and now that i've bought ledger?
So I already have a MM account (lets call it "Account 1") that has some ETH and some other defi alt coins. Now if I connect my ledger it creates a "Ledger Account" option on MM. Do I then need to transfer all the ETH + alt coins form "Account 1" to "Ledger Account"?
Hello my friend, from where these accounts come from (when we connect the ledger with the Metamask)? We don't need to add every account we create to ledger live right ? We can use secure harware account with metamask without adding them to ledger live right ? I ask you that because I've seen that everytime we have to add an ether account to ledger live, we have to add ether, so we have to pay a lot of fees if we want to add several ethereum accounts to ledger live.

Looks good - do you actually use the ledger 100% of the time or still use the metamask browser extension. A lot of farmers I follow don't talk too much about hardware wallets and seem to just use the browser extension

Hello friend, thank you for the video. On other videos, they are telling me to delete metamask once you connect Ledger, and then you reinstall metamask so that your passcodes are no longer on the computer. Is this true?
@@JohnnyTime Hi man, everything is ok, i have connected both metamask and avalanche wallet to ledger, but when I try to add TIME token to Wonderland I get metamask pop-up asking me to confirm Add Token, but when I confirm, nothing happens and the token is still in my metamask. I have that problem only with the metamask, which is connected to Ledger.
how to i link my current active metamask account to the ledger without storing the token into the device? I just wanted to use ledger as an additional authentication purpose.
Depends if you already have some money on you ledger or not. If you do, select the one with the money, if not it doesn’t matter, I always prefer to use the first one, easier.
@@JohnnyTime thanks for your reply. I have moved almost all my funds to a new wallet. I’m locked into a time trace with my hackers getting my rewards out from a BR. When my rewards become available I raced to transfer out. But sometimes they just snipe them out from underneath me. It’s like they have an auto function setup.

JT the seed phrase is still present in your MM wallet on the browswer correct? Meaning its still vulnerable. I have seen other videos where they delete the old MM wallet and use a fresh one? Does the MM upgrade that just happened change the need to delete your original wallet? Thanks!
@@JohnnyTime I have funds already in Metamask that I would want my Ledger to protect and have Ledger authorize any transactions for both Metamask and Ledger. I've seen other videos where all transactions including the ones in the Metamask account still get a prompt from the Ledger to approve it. Do you know how to set this up?
@@goldorak806 I saw something where someone reset their ledger with their metamask seed phrase so their existing MM was then put on the ledger.. then you delete you MM and get a new one to remove the seeds phrase from being online. still not as safe as moving funds to new cold wallet addy but if you have money staked somewhere its a MORE safe option
You can send lp tokens, or, remove the liquidity and then sell the original tokens. You will have to unstake them first from the contract and then you can send them.

@@JohnnyTime Nvm my question earlier was about the address MM gives you when you connect with your ledger. What if you lose your 12 seedphrase, could you still access your ledger that was connected (not imported) to MM?
