Worked perfectly well. I guess, the navigation screens are a little different after the subsequent updates. But still works as on 8th Feb 2022. Thanks a ton!
there are couple of smart life apps, instead of just speaking, you should show the smart life app icon .. there are few with the same name in the app store .. now which one to take
It’s not working bro on clicking on the smart tab there are only three option energy saving, smart protect and features nothing else as shown in the video
@@mrsahilbawa Hi, Could you figure out a way to add the Wipro devices with the homekit? Also, I wanted to confirm if you could please help me regarding a concern. Is there a way where I could control my multiple wipro devices with a single manual command? And what If I use the same app that you mentioned in this video. How will my family members that use Androiy devices will be able to access it with their google assignment?
Yes on it (very lengthy for a high quality video) but if you’d like to research on your own, look for r/Homebridge (to understand what is possible), Homebridge tuya plug-in (to feed keys), Homebridge OS for raspberry pi (to set up a robust solution taking into account power usage and power cuts), tuya cli wizard (to extract keys), and tuya iot platform (to link app).
No problem, Wipro app will not work as mentioned in the video. Please use Smart Life app from the App Store. It has a blue house icon in case your region has multiple apps with that name
I dont know if you’ll read this comment and act or not but here it goes anyway - please make a video on available homekit compatible devices in India and prices if possible. There are many available outside but I’m sure sure there are tons of people who want this for their homes here.
Thank you! I’ll put one on my list to do. There’s a video here about Wozart on the channel in the meanwhile and I’m working on another where in I’ll show you how to connect brands like Wipro to HomeKit with a Homebridge Server on a raspberry pi.
Nope, Smart Life is built on the same framework as the Wipro app. It will work with Alexa and Google Home. I’m addition to these, it will also let you know close Siri Shortcuts that the Wipro app forbids for some reason…
Can we change personal request settings without a HomePod or HomePod mini ? I just downloaded the home app and cannot find any way to turn on the personal request settings
Personal Requests setting is only available and required if you want to control automations through a HomePod. If you do not have a HomePod in your workflow, you don’t need this setting!
@sahil thanks for the response. It still asks me to add device to home app. No idea why it’s not following the voice command. It’s not working for me :(
@@pkb12345 check and try this if it helps: 1. Check if you open your shortcuts app, the shortcut is there and works from within the app. 2. Try changing the name of the shortcut so that it does not include trigger words like switch on or switch off or turn on or turn off. It could be a recent bug where Siri goes to Home app instead of shortcuts if it hears those triggers
@@mzhzp Which app are you using? This option will only be available in Smart Life and Tuya apps. Not in Wipro app. Open smart life > Tap on smart tab in the bottom > Select Tap to Run on the top > Tap Add to Siri > Follow on screen instructions Here is a screenshot: drive.google.com/file/d/1p96Cj-fJ0ubZi6C8998Rkl3jZmke2l2t/view?usp=drivesdk
@@mrsahilbawa Thanks bro, Let me try Smart Life app. I missed that part in the video so got confused. Also, the UI for both the apps are too similar! Anyway thanks again.
Sir manne mi smart bulb purchase kiya tha and vo blink in off ho rha and automatic colour change kr rha h after power cut sir koi option batao jis se factory reset ho jaye bulb
You can find it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8F9AWHFt664.html This is the easiest way. Do this on your iPad- not iPhone. Let me know if it works as intended. Also, there’s one more way to do it. If this one doesn’t work, let me know. I’ll create a video for the other way.
@@HaseebHeaven they don’t really- these are Siri Shortcuts that will help you with the voice command functionality only. It won’t fully integrate like, say, the mi lamp which would have much more features like integrated controls in the notification centre or the Home app. This is a workaround I wanted to share because I know it’s a bummer there are not many HomeKit devices available in India to begin with let alone cheap HomeKit devices 🥲🥲
@@mrsahilbawa okay got it , yes Homekit devices are not cheap in india and this work around is pretty great and this app is same as Wipro Smart devices
What the hell just happened??? I am now able to control my Homemate devices and Wipro devices with the same thing. Also I will try to set up Atomberg fan and Crompton opt guest with this and will Update the comment here
