Connecticut Antique Machinery Association Featuring Hawaii Railway Co. 5 

The Connecticut Antique Machinery Association located in Kent, CT holds a fall festival every September. We arrived late on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Many of the displays were shutting down but the main goal of this trip was to see and ride Hawaii Railway Co. 5. The narrow gauge steam locomotive gives rides out and back on just over a 1000 feet of track. A unique feature here is that they do not use passenger carrying cars. Everybody rides on top of the tender! A definite bonus!
