This is the most insane take I have ever seen. Chainlink's adoption is huge. Look at their ecosystem which is consistently growing every single week. There isn't one other blockchain out there that has a bigger ecosystem than Chainlink. Your frustration seems to be that they are constantly talking about being in various phases of research and testing over the years. If I'm correct on that I fail to understand why that's an issue. Perhaps you're too used to things in crypto coming out with some insane use case live from day one - but the risk/failure rate on these things is too high. Hence why you don't see any of Trad-fi truly interacting with any of it beyond poking a stick every now and then. Here you have the largest Trad-fi org's on the planet actively working with Chainlink towards a likely overhaul of the way transactions work... and you're like 'meh.. nobody cares'. Insane.

Is it desperation to focus on a singular market, even if your product has the potential to serve more markets? I don't think so. Chainlink has been working with financial institutions from the very beginning because that's where it can make the biggest global impact.
