Caution !!! Make sure the hose clamp ( jubilee clamp) is centered OVER the barb of the fitting.. In this example..it is half on and half off the spot in the hose with bibb inside !This will cause the clamp to cut into the tube and fail !!

I have 3/4” black pipe with shut off valve and I plan on running 60 feet of 1/2” ID hoSe with quick connect to 3/4 house and regulator on my 13hp 420cc engine. My question even though 2 others Including one guy who told me my lines to my 1” house line would give my 13hp generator 36,000BTU and my generator would only require 28,000 BTU’s. If you know what I’m explaining is he right can I use 60 feet of 1/2” and get the BTU’s needed another said all the 1/2”” needed And a guy who said 3/4” only 12 feet . But I’ve seen quite a few running on30 ft of 3/8” and my generator was made for gas so I can’t find any BTU’. Thanks
This is for gas right ? If so this is highly illegal using a water pipe clamp . There's specialised clamps with 2 ears that must be used on gas or oxygen hoses

I tried to do it without anything but it felt impossible but then I cam here and when I saw him using the spray I didn't had one like it so I used cooking oil, it's pretty good and I managed to do it very easy
