Connecting Greenland through the Greensat mission: How does it work 

José Sanchez, our Chief Solutions Officer, explains that “We are here in Tasiilaq, a truly remote area that it is very difficult to reach and where the only way of getting connected is to have quality internet. That’s why we're connecting cellphones with the satellite base station that we have here which is in turn connected to our control center in the Canary Islands. That way we can thus offer all these satellite services. We had to create these facilities during the summer because it’s impossible during the rest of the year. All this equipment also has to be prepared to withstand these harsh temperature conditions”.
