I've followed all the steps and the connector isn't showing. I've followed the instructions per the video, but see some discrepancies in the video description with names for the folders. Can anybody help?
I figured it out! The issue was that my documents is synced to OneDrive, which I was able to manually unsync and now it worked! If anyone else is connected to OneDrive - check into that if this isn't working for you!

I had to create the Power BI Desktop folder, there create Custom connections folder in My documents and that wordked for me . i.e. My Documents-->Power BI Desktop-->Custom connections
