Love your videos. I make my 'swirly' things the same way you do - as an equal symmetry (in terms of numbers) but not always size - I think it looks "jazzy" too. Fun fact - we moved from the US to New Zealand about 5 years ago and found out that particular design is very prominent in the indigenous Māori culture here. The Māori call it a "koru" and it's the shape that new fern plant fronds look like as they begin to unfurl. It represents new life and growth and you can even see that design on the tail of the airplanes of our national carrier, Air New Zealand. So now I call it a Koru too. An interesting connection between our cultures - local people always comment that my traditional Ukrainian/Slavic designs look so much like their own indigenous ones.
