I hate that this happens to children! My great grandma used to always say that the child-molesters should have their penises cut off. I happen to agree. I pray that by the grace of God Tyler is able to overcome this trauma in his life and continue to grow in the grace and love of Christ Jesus! God's grace is sufficient for us, no matter how far we've gone, no matter what happened to us in our past, His strength is made perfect in our weakness! God has really put this man on my heart to pray for, as I have seen his movies moving more away from the saving grace of Jesus and more onto secular story lines. I bawled as I watched this. I remember this episode in 2010 aired on Oprah. I am without alcohol or drugs compared to myself in 2010. The line above states "an innocent boy was abused by a homosexual" - CORRECTION "homosexual should NOT be used here as the abuser is a "pedophile".

The comments about him being gay are irrelevant to me, my questions are different He seems really self aware of his feelings regarding who he was as a child and the feelings associated with the abuse I also see why he has (like Walt Disney) created an entire self contained world wherein he can control the environment, whether at home or at work. It is all inclusive and a protective action. I wonder though, how much of that trauma and anger, resentment etc is carried over into his work. How much of that trauma is carried into what he writes for actors and how he directs the people who work for him? How much of this remains unresolved? How much of this pain does he project onto the people he directs? Does his control have to be complete in every aspect of his life? To what end?

Oh boy! You think you know somebody. It's great he grew out of it and lifted himself to greatness.

I watched Tyler Perry’s movies and it’s sad that he went through something traumatic for him. Why people would do something like this to children, they don’t know that it destroys them for life. Hope He is doing better and hope others can get help and find peace somewhere.
