I've been thoroughly enjoying your Onyx videos. I'm playing with the Demo file and I've got everything configured per your video, but in the Capture demo file I can only select the one universe. Universes 2 and 3 don't show up in the dropdown. I do have the universes 1-3 set within the sACN settings in Onyx. Not sure where the disconnect is. Any thoughts?

As weird as it sounds, rebooting often fixes issues like this. I have no idea why, but I get this issue with multiple different consoles in Capture sometimes. It doesn't make a ton of sense, but a reboot often clears it up.

It is possible that it does not say it is that univese but it is because That happned to me and I looked in the other universes and the data did cary over.

Hi David, awesome videos - really helpful! One question, is there a difference between using the Network Interface 1 vs the others? For example, my Network Interface 1 is disconnected, but by Network Interface 4 is connected. I've switched it on, but I can't get any options for Capture Universes as you do in the video. Do I need to connect the #1 interface, and if so, how do I do this? Cheers, Dale

Every computer numbers it's network interfaces differently....they are all the same, just different network ports or wifi adapters. When having network issues in Capture, select the network interface you want to use (instead of letting it be automatic), then send DMX data to that interface before opening Capture. Hope that helps!

Thanks David for this wonderful video. May I ask if I don't want to connect with the training file(which based on what you have patched in the last few videos), should I do the same things to connect capture? I tried last time but seems nothing appearing in capture. Did I miss something?

Yep, should be the same steps for "real capture".

@@LearnStageLighting Hey David. I still got something dont really understand. After I set up all the cue in onyx, the lighting will not automatically appear in Capture right? I need to set up the same address and same model of light in Capture so I can control it through onyx?

you changed your loaded file to the onyx demo file, but how do you connect capture to my own showfile and display my own truss sytem and light setup.

when i go back to my own showfile, the SACN is not setup for my universe, but when I go to live view, it still shows the demo truss sytem and light setup

I'm a little confused as to where you are at. This demo file for capture isn't going to work with your lights - you need a paid version of Capture, and then you create your own stage in it.
