Everything I teach has to make sense to the horse; help to reduce tension; gain confidence and understanding; and gain a connection with you.
It doesn't matter what stage you are at in your horsemanship. My focus on putting your horses mind before the body offers a different approach to horsemanship and I hope to be able to help you help your horse to be more relaxed, willing and happier because of that.

wow that sure was a great video lesson on connecting with a distracted horse. I am really enjoying your way of working with horses Mark, which takes into account their mind and thoughts by not causing them any distress. I was taught the comfort/discomfort rule and what I see with your ways with horses is that they start to realise that you are the solid reliable place and they release themselves of their own distress. I think I will sign up for more at your website. Thanks!!

Gidday Mark, I only recently discovered your videos on RU-vid. Your unique version of horsemanship captured my imagination and I am {albeit slowly) beginning to understand it. Thank you Sir for your manner of teaching. It is so different from the "make em respond to pressure" type of horsemanship that I learnt and followed in the past. I really enjoy the calmness of connecting the way that you do with horses. My background is limited to handling Standardbreds for racing (I don't like riding) however this Calm Connecting does have merit in that realm too I feel. Cheers Mark.

what a great lesson, Thank you Mark. I've inherited a ex race horse that because of his anxiety was destined for the nacker yard. I no nothing at all about horse's and have been searching You Tube for a video that addresses the problems this horse has and you my man have provided me with some very valuable information, thank you again and please keep up these great video's. I am subscribing liking this video right now!!!

This is fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing. I have a mare that acts just like this and I've been struggling to find something that might work to get her focused on me. Thank you.
