This is a great lesson. It, obviously, comes from years of experience.

I can't believe people would treat Danny like that!!! Although, this teachable moment IS important, I hope he never has to deal with that, again. Anyone else, for that matter.

I agree. I will admit in my time i have not had TOO many hecklers. But when i did usually it was because either the guys felt threatened by me in front of his girl or he was drunk. Once i had a lady take my ting and refuse to give it back. I laughed it off at first buy when she refused i stopped the set and told the audience that the show was over because she was refusing yo give me my wedding ring back. She was drunk and thought it was funny. Since i have learned to read people and not to trust them with certain props when i know they are intoxicated. Haha Otherwise my open and welcoming personality usually puts people on my side and they tend not to heckle.

@@OBrienMagic my way of dealing with hecklers has just been to join them in making fun on me. It kills it pretty quickly, and keeps us on the same side. It might not work well for EVERY personality, but for me, it has kept me from having a bad time.. 😅😅 Aside from a drunk person not being good at making jokes with you, it's hard to believe anyone would WANT to heckle YOU. Haha
