Great drills thanks for the solid content . I’m a youth coach and I’m all about posture , timing , and rhythm trying to get them in a position to learn successful hitting . Definitely going to order a couple of these training balls ..
Trying to find those connection balls they don’t have them on Amazon they only have plyo and yoga balls are they the same and what size do you use for a HS player?
When your shoulder jerks your head out of the swing after you swing What does it mean? And why do my hands sometimes go really up last second in the swing? 7:11 is kinda the position they get in then they take an upward knobe movemnt.
Honestly, seems gimmicky. Back arm must be tight to body to maintain connection at contact, but seems like using a balloon to keep the front arm away from your chest makes the swing needlessly arm centered. Most of the swing power comes from your shoulders and chest and hips turning into the pitch, so not sure why I need all that separation between my front arm and the body.
@@patrickgoodman4576 Well, I suggest you test it with K-Vest. Try having a guy swing like you can see in the video and try having a guys swing with a front arm locked. If hand rotational velo isn't higher with front arm locked, I'll buy you a beer. Kinetic chain in the end is the most important principle we have.
@@jaroslavkorcak if you're going for higher velos that's all well and good but if you couple it with finesse then that makes you a more complete hitter. You can't just go off exit speeds alone unless that's all you care about
@@jaroslavkorcak Finesse: the ability to change direction at a given point along the swing path towards the pitch. Im not saying it can't go hand in hand but it is more difficult to maintain control the harder or the more force you use to swing. True power comes from the pendulum effect in the swing and it's just more difficult to control that pendulum the more it's coiled.
