Connor Burke, hailing from Richmond, Virginia is proud to present his freestyle video part. To the common skater, freestyle is like the red-headed stepchild that nobody wants to acknowledge. However, Connor somehow manages to take advantage of a forgotten vocabulary tricks and infuses them with modern street tricks.

Rodney would be so proud of this guy. The fact that this kid is willing to carry on the tradition of Free-style and while combining it with street style. It's as if he learned the tricks of the trade from the man himself.

This is one of those types of skating thats more satisfying to watch rather than do. Rolling away from one of these combos is cool, but it doesnt have the same feel as a tweaked out crail grab in a pool or rolling away from a huge stairset. It just seems kind of bland when you think all you really have to do is have a lot of time and a flat area.

It's different for sure, I can't say much about pool skating but I love my freestyle. It's incredibly fun, and can be done almost anywhere. I'd say you should give it a go :)

+skatersssss Hahaha one of the main reasons I got into freestyle. I can occasionally hit the parks, but usually it's just a nice cruise or some flatground in my garage or basement. I learned my varial kickflips in the latter area 😂
