He's definitely got it, he's a voice actor, entertainer, got a great voice, and he picks up new skills quickly, with some light practice he could be great but with serious training he could be unstoppable.

I feel like we should note that he didn't just lose in Spy Party, Mouse absolutely obliterated him. Or he obliterated himself, it was kind of hard to tell.

I mean if he take ths seriously, He can actually sing bass/baritone. His voice reminds me of that low part/bass on the boyz2men group.

You can tell how embarassed he is by all those random fidgety moves, but he is doing so well. He often exudes a lot of confidence on camera in general, so seeing him embarassed to try and sing is uncommon, and you just want to keep cheering on for him. So proud of him.

Imagine if he actually tried to improve his voice. He'll become ConnorInDemandVA. With the Japanese coming along nicely, he'll be sought out.

You can LITERALLY tell the moment Connor just told himself "fuck it" and actually started taking it a bit more seriously rather than trying to make it a joke, and it was a noticeable difference (around 1:06).. Mouse picked up on it immediately... If Connor, or ANYONE, just stopped thinking that they CANT sing..... EVERYONE can sing, it is just a matter of confidence and learning with your inner ear... There is a reason singers hold their dominant ear closed, or you see them put a hand up to an ear out of habit... Holding one ear closed allows the sound you are making to reverberate in your inner ear, allowing you to better match the tune you are listening to with your other ear... At that point, it is just a matter of figuring out your range and just go for it... This method CERTAINLY wont help you be a Singer like Mouse, but it DOES work...

Connor’s got the kind of singing voice that just needs a couple kicks in the butt to get over the personal awkwardness that makes you clench your throat and choke. From experience, you just need someone professionally trained at some level to kick your ass a bit and get over yourself. (Also not having paper-thin walls helps if you cherish your relationships with neighbors)

Considering this man has no Formal singing training. He has an amazing baseline for basic singing! If you don’t believe me, then take it from Ed Sheeran! I’ve seen his old RU-vid videos, Ed wasn’t kidding when he said he had a rough start in learning to sing but that just makes me respect him more. Now for Cannur to get those singing reps in. (Or for Mousey to take him to a VR karaoke bar to jam out)

GOD i love these two so much. I know how Connor feels. I don't have the best voice to put it lightly, so trying to sing for real when everyone is looking at you is really embarassing. But with Mouse and chat cheering him on and encouraging him. I just can feel how proud Mouse is to hear him sing, I know she wanted to hear him sing for real for a long time. He. Is. Good. I mean his voice is really an unpolished gem. I am not a trained musician but it seems like he is instinctively doing many things right and adapts quickly. I think it shows that he has control of his voice to some extent from voiceacting and all the streaming!

If Connor could get over the personal embarrassment of singing in public and take a few professional lessons he would be a pretty decent singer. You see mostly women in the vtuber space (which Connor is in despite his fleshy status) singing and Connor could carve himself out a niche if he wanted.

Ngl I always thought mouse kinda just assumed he'd be good at singing because he's a voice actor but I genuinely hear the potential when he's singing :) At the start he struggled to find the right pitch for the song constantly going too low to control then too high only for that to amplify his awkwardness, lack of confidence and cringe but later on he had that "fuck it I'm already doing it, might aswell give it a shot" sort of attitude then tried concentrating a little more instead of full on riffing on it. Would genuinely love to hear the progression of his singing. He has potential

Not surprised, as a Welsh speaker Connor probably sang in a choir as a child, then his voice broke and he stopped. Hence he can sing, but he lacks confidence with his adult voice.
